Characters has grown into me and I especially enjoyed discussions where Becky's parents were involved - they were funny. I also loved how things went with Elinor and I am really intrigued to see what happens next.

This was light & entertaining and I loved how this wasn't just concentrating on shopping.

I‘ve read them all in the series up until this book #5 so far. Something about the main characters naivety draws me in. It‘s unlike myself to the extreme so it‘s interesting to read.

And for something a little lighter (even though I physically hate the main character)...

#Januarystack. I got a little behind on my posting but got well ahead in the reading. Lots of interesting things this month, and reorganizing found lots of interesting things ahead in the TBR.

I enjoyed the first few books in this series and most of the author‘s standalone work. Then I read this installment after a several year break and found Becky to be an #ObnoxiousCharacter

Finishing this one wrapped up one of my challenges for 2019. That said, I didn‘t really enjoy it. I had quit this series years before but continued to enjoy the author‘s other work. I think Becky‘s charm has worn off for me and her bad qualities have gotten worse. I still plan to finish the series sometime.

A good story is one I can't wait to finish and when I do finish it, I cry.

Is it important to read them in order or is each book essentially self contained?
I'm missing a few but really want to start reading this series.
