I've been in a rut, it's Christmas, and I've been rewatching Doctor Who since July (starting with An Unearthly Child.) I've read a couple of these new Who Target novelizations and they're usually fun with just enough extra detail to make it worth itvwhqh you've seen the episode a few times. Hopefully this is no exception

OH YES! An easy Pick for me. Colgan transfers RTD's story to print faithfully and enriches The Christmas Invasion with the Children in Need special set between "The Parting of the Ways" and this episode. And boy has technology changed: here we have dial-up internet in central London and computers with 512 MB of RAM ? This is well worth adding to your shelves.

OK this resolves what I thought was a plot hole in the TV episode: Mickey somehow being able to access UNIT servers!
But I am mainly sharing this quote to giggle over the computer having 512 MB of RAM 😂
