Frieda does some really, awfully stupid things in this, but by book five you are strapped in for the ride and just enjoy it.

The 5th book about Frieda Klein and in this one she is accused of murder. She goes into hiding to look into it and find out who the real killer is. I didn‘t see the ending coming at all.
1st book finished for #MarvellousMarch
This series is so good. Highly recommend if you haven‘t read it. This one was great as always and I loved the ending. Onto the next one!
Barney is going to kennels today before we go to Northumberland tomorrow so I'm bracing myself for lots of crying by finishing this in order to choose my holiday reading.
The 5th in the frieda klein series is another great page turning story with the psychotherapist accused of a murder and going on the run. With help from friends she tries to find the real killer with as always a cracking climax and the last few pages leaving you wanting more.
Day 6 of my week long challenge to read 8 books, 2800 Pages and read for 56 hours
Update
8 Books Read : Already Met this part. On Saturday finished : Still Life, Friday On My Mind and Bring Him Back
2635 Pages Read (235 ahead of Schedule)
48 Hours 30 min Minutes Read (30 Minutes ahead of schedule)
This is a very refreshing series, with each book feeling very different to the last. Frieda is quite a complex character, & she certainly has a lot happening to her & unfortunately has her enemies out there! Thankfully she has a good group of friends around there who are willing to put their very life on the line for her, & in this one they have to. There are some great characters in this series, and was good to see Frieda challenged in this one.

A great start to a book, it has a map! Like the others in the series it has a map of one of London‘s hidden rivers - in this case the Earl‘s Sluice. Can‘t beat a map for bringing a book alive and giving you a sense of place.

Started reading my first book for November, which I am reading along with @Tove_Reads .

Brilliant song, also Placebo do an awesome cover 💜
I'm having a hard time staying invested in this book. Maybe I should leave it for. Ow and try again later. Last year around this time I got in a major reading slump and I don't want that to happen again.
What I'm reading now. This time Frieda may have found herself in a situation she can't get out of #whatchareadin📚📖📜📰
Happy Sunday everyone!🤗
Finally have some down time to read this weekend.
Trying to decide which one to start next🤔....they're both due back at the library in just a few days so there's a chance I might not get to read both. I've seen several posts/comments on 'The Mothers' so I'm very curious about it, BUT I love the Frieda Klein series and have been looking forward to this latest installment...Oh the dilemma!📖🙈📖.

I really love these books. Freida Klein is the type of main character I love rooting for. She knows herself and doesn't care what others think of her. I was pleasantly surprised by the ending of this one. Highly recommend but would definitely say start with the first in the series. It only took me a week or so to read all five books.
