I‘m honestly not sure which I love more: the title of this book, or the quirky cast of characters.

How to Tell Toledo From the Night Sky is about the power of love, fate, and how some things seem to be written in the stars...

This book was odd which made it confusing in parts. It was an interesting story about the concept of love and how we view it. The relationships were very intriguing, but I really didn‘t like the characters. It wasn‘t awful, just not my favorite that I‘ve read for the challenge.

I liked it, but didn‘t LOVE it. Still good enough for me to search out Netzer‘s first book, which I hear is better.

#5ThingsILove about living in Toledo.

1. One of the best zoos in the country.
2. The art museum is really great.
3. Low cost of living.
4. Moderate climate. I love having seasons!
5. My fiance and job are here (which is the reason I relocated).

@Debiw781

Debiw781 I love zoos! And number 5 💕 7y

Smangela Have you read this one? I picked it up from the library a year or two ago and it's the one book I can remember not finishing in like 10 years, I didn't give it much effort, I did not get more than a few chapters in. So curious if I should pick it back up :) 8y
hes7 @Smangela I haven't read it yet. I picked it up at the dollar store a few months ago because it seemed interesting, but I've seen some mixed reviews recently... I am planning to read it in the next week or so, so I'll let you know. 🤞🏻 8y
Smangela I'll be on the look out for your review! Part of me thinks it was just a wrong time read for me 🤞🏻 I hope you like it! 8y

I don't know much about this book or author but the idea of mothers plotting to have their kids grow up to be soulmates is an interesting one. The prologue starts with some kind of dark ideas about sleep, dreams, destiny and death...

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled I've had this on my wishlist for a while - let me know how it is 8y
L_auren I read this! I don't think I've talked to anyone else who has. So strange but so enjoyable 8y
Bry @ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled.com I liked it...I think? It was a lot weirder than I was expecting but I still ended up feeling positively about it by the end. 8y
ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled 🤔ok - thanks for letting me know - now I kinda know what Im getting into! 8y
