pickSounds like someone I would want to hang out with. I loved this book; but I love Kurt Vonnegut so I'm probably a little more than biased.
I had no idea who Vivian Hallinan was until I read this and when I searched her name on Google I was immediately impressed by her and immediately annoyed. She was a huge advocate for civil rights but all they talk about is her husband or her appearance. Some things don't change.
1.) I didn't know "Imaginary Conversations" was a subject ? and 2.) I love that acknowledgement.
pickThis is a clever little compilation of interviews with a few of the residents of Heaven - unknown, famous, and infamous. Vonnegut (the humanist - small 'h') himself is conducting these interviews via intentional near death experiences facilitated by his buddy, Jack Kervorkian, M.D. The savvy Vonnegut reader would find it hilarious that the last person interviewed in heaven was Isaac Asimov.
