TV on or no when you‘re reading? Or are you into music? What about silence?

I can‘t read without the TV on. Right now, it‘s 16 and Pregnant. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Clwojick I prefer silence, but I can handle music or listening to my husband play video games. But if it‘s a movie or tv show I‘m interested in, I‘ll get too distracted from reading. 5y

jb72 Usually on if I‘m reading during the day before bedtime. Right now I‘m “watching” a variety of YouTube videos while reading...Omar is so much fun to watch in his haunted videos. 5y

Amiable If my husband is watching sports I can read with the TV on. But if it‘s something that might even vaguely attract my attention, I can‘t concentrate with the TV on. 5y

xicanti I listen to a lot of music, but I can‘t read while anything with a storyline is on TV. SOMETIMES I can manage to read during sports, but only sometimes. 5y

Megabooks @xicanti most of my musical knowledge ends around 2010 when I graduated from vet school! When I stopped studying, especially after I started listening to audiobooks while I drive, I just totally lost touch. 5y
