I adored this book! A perfect read for winter or a rainy day, or any time when you're feeling overwhelmed or frazzled. In these crazy times, we could all use a little more coziness in our lives, and this book is filled with lots of small ideas to add warmth and comfort to our days.

I managed to read quite a bit over the weekend. Though I only finished the tagged book (which I did not like), I read section 2 of the #SundayBuddyRead and a good amount of Peyton Place for the #AlmostAChunksterChallenge . I have off of work today, so hope to read even more. #FabulousFebruary
@Andrew65
I finished all of these over the 3-day weekend. I had started everything except Ghosts which I started and finished yesterday. All were picks and I loved each for a different reason. Ghosts was haunting & not a typical celebrity memoir. It really is exactly as the title describes with a sprinkling of what it's like to be an actor. Cosy and Anne were the warm blankets I needed this weekend & Follies was fun & transported me to ranch life in OK.
1. Not a recent read, but I have a great one for any time I bail on a book. "Time to Move On" by Tom Petty
2. See the pics! My Beauty and the Beast book sleeve, my new Baby Yoda Read bookmarks, and my 3D printed READ book business card holder. And of course so much more.
3. I've never thought about, but as long as the character is well written I'll read any age.

The perfect Sunday read. Took this out from my library and very quickly realized I needed to own this book. Luckily, it was a $1.99 on Kindle. Loving this so far!
Sooooo there were a few shining parts in this overall mess of a book. Between the poorly done art and the hodgepodge way it was put together (where was the editor) I finished it and felt... unsettled. So I looked up the reviews on Goodreads. The most liked review was one star and nailed why I also did not enjoy it... "I can only describe the overall experience of reading Cosy as 'annoying'. And 'irritating. And it lowered my IQ and I hate that."
Exactly what I needed. I love this short and sweet guide to the very British art of being "cosy". Cuddled up in my warm spot by the fireplace (electric heater ?), under my lovely knit blanket beside the Christmas tree was the perfect setting for this title. ? ☕️ ?
If you plan on reading this charming little book, Christmas time is the perfect time of year to do so. The last section is even about the holiday. ♥️

Is there anything more cozy?? Curled up, reading beside the Christmas tree, under a blanket.🎄
Its important to be comfortable with uncertainty.

The Danes have hygge. The Swedes have lagom. Now, Laura Weir, a beloved lifestyle journalist and editor-in-chief of London Evening Standard‘s weekly ES magazine, introduces American readers to the Brits‘ best-kept secret—coziness—an indulgent, luxurious, yet unfussy way of creating comfort and joy.
