I loved this one! Such a sweet story that I could definitely see becoming a movie. Emmie plans a Christmas scavenger hunt for her boyfriend Grant to lead him to their vacation at Christmas Point. A mix-up causes writer Sam to follow the clues to her instead. When Grant's arrival is continually delayed, she and Sam do some of the activities she planned together and find that they both have the same enthusiasm for Christmas ✨🎄💖

Another soft pick. I did enjoy this one, but with a boyfriend in the background, this was a borderline cheating book. I felt like it was handled well and nothing "happened" but still...also was a little eye-roll-y when the author was having the characters talk about watching movies based on the author's other books lol

This is also another book about a character weirdly obsessed with Christmas. I bailed on Flora's Traveling Christmas Shop ⬇️

This book was the perfect Christmas feel good read. It also has the word Christmas in it almost 800 times, so my total for #WGWordSearch is really high! 1,075 words total for 10,750 points. 25 points for a Christmas read. 5 hours reading x 2 readathons = 100 points. Reading this book while sitting in front of the Christmas tree. Trying to ride out the symptoms of the Covid booster I got yesterday. I‘m so achy, and I‘m trying so hard to not complain. Ugh. Hopefully tomorrow is less painful! On the plus side, the book‘s good so far!!

I won this book last year from LibraryThing but didn‘t get a chance to read it until this year.

It was a cute little holiday story. Emmie plans an elaborate Christmas scavenger hunt to get her boyfriend into the Christmas spirit but the wrong guy ends up finding the clues. The town Christmas Point was really cute and a place I would want to go.

I think this was the best Christmas book I have read this season... it made me remember how special and important traditions are at the holidays. I wish I could spend time at Christmas Point and drink some of Ruby‘s hot cocoa!

As expected, this was basically a Christmas Hallmark movie in a book. It was sweet, very Christmassy, & predictable. Schaler did depart a little by providing a bit of Sam‘s perspective, rather than staying with Emmie‘s the whole time, but otherwise everything you want and expect is there, which is exactly what I signed up for.

I particularly liked Sam (I was meant to), but Grant was a little too close to home😳. 3 1/2 stars!

I saw this on the LT Early Reviewers list and since it had already been published, I decided to go ahead and buy it. I really should have looked at the description closer: This is definitely Hallmark Holiday fare. If you like that sort of thing, this is for you. But if you don‘t like ‘Christmas Prince‘ and ‘Christmas Camp‘, this will only confirm your bias.

Now this is the Christmas book I was looking for! A wonderful story about Christmas and romance. I really enjoyed the characters, the storyline and the setting of the book. #elfies

Another super cute Christmas story by the author of Christmas Camp, which I loved. It‘s just like I expect a Hallmark movie to be, with lovable secondary characters, a great setting, a ton of Christmas spirit, and a happy ending. The dog in the story, Dasher, is a complete JOY on the pages 🐶
