1. Not so much unusual as the kind of job you'd expect to find in an Agatha Christie book: in college I worked as a typist for a well-to-do fortune teller couple. They had a lavish apartment filled with antiques; I was served coffee & delicious finger food each time. I transcribed case notes & learned that people have a MULTITUDE of problems.
2. Meeting people I haven't seen in so long

My tree might be a little thin and sparse this year, but it's still better than last year's asshole tree that refused to light up 😊 My kids did the decorating today. Trying to get in the holiday spirit! If you look closely, you might find a Ninja Turtle or two there somewhere 😁
