A bone-chilling family history is unearthed in a heart-stopping thriller by New York Times bestselling author Anne Frasier. Convicted serial killer Benjamin Fisher has finally offered to lead San Bernardino detective Daniel Ellis to the isolated graves of his victims. One catch: he'll only do it if FBI profiler Reni Fisher, his estranged daughter, accompanies them. As hard as it is to exhume her traumatic childhood, Reni can't say no. She still feels complicit in her father's crimes. Perfect to play a lost little girl, Reni was the bait to lure unsuspecting women to their deaths. It's time for closure. For her. For the families. And for Daniel. He shares Reni's obsession with the past. Ever since he was a boy, he's been convinced that his mother was one of Fisher's victims. A five-hundred-mile road trip lies ahead. Thirty years of bad memories are flooding back. A master manipulator has gained their trust. For Reni and Daniel, this isn't the end of a nightmare. It's only the beginning.

What a fantastic mystery about sociopaths, serial killers, and the people they leave behind-both dead and alive! While a shorter book, the ending was great and I only want more because I love the writing and I feel invested in Reni & Daniel. The premise of this book is bone chilling-a serial killer using his young daughter as bait BUT that‘s not even all of it! I‘m not usually into sequels, but I‘m def reading through this series.Book #45 in 2022

The only thrilling thing about this thriller was that it ended. This was a total plot-driven book with under developed flat characters. It was flat, repetitive, monotone, and boring. The twists were loosely thrown in with no detail or understanding and the ending came off forced. I really did not enjoy this book, I was bored of the writing after the first few chapters.

TBR Wheel Spin Pick: Find Me by Anne Frasier. I am breezing through my TBR pile using my wheel, mostly due to the fact I've been putting off reading books that I wasn't sure I'd like. Turns out, my assumptions were correct ... I have collected a good deal of free or under $1 books, yet they are not anything I am enjoying. I'm glad to be purging my shelves finally, making room for more books to find homes. 🤓

#BookReport - I finished 3 books and 5 graphic novels. Some were better than others.

And I‘m listening to We Have Always Lived in a Castle on audio. I‘m like 66% done.
I‘m also currently reading Catherine House, which I‘m still unsure about

#WeeklyForecast - Start 1 more graphic novel and then start the #BuddyRead for #TeamSlaughter and start another book.

Finished my first book for #TeamSlaughter

About a serial killer and how it affects his family. A detective‘s search for the truth and a lot of other things. It was really good! So intense.

Excellent! This is the 4th book by Anne Frasier that I‘ve read and they have all been 5 ⭐️! In Find Me, Reni was used by her father in a sick and twisted game. Now, a homicide detective named Daniel wants to find out where the bodies are buried. What he and Reni uncover is more than they bargained for. Fast paced thriller, but with an emotional pull. This is the first in a new series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

One of the best books I‘ve read all year! The characters were faulty and rich, the conflicts only they could go through. Although I did figure it out, her writing drove me to stick with it. Her knowledge of the Mojave was presented in picturesque ways, and just before I thought it too much, she pulled back. Admittedly, there were instances where I wondered if the detectives were any good at their jobs, but I fell in love with them anyway.

This was good. The only way the Inland Empire Killer will reveal the graves of his victims is if his daughter Reni comes along. They, and the FBI, embark on the journey into the desert and, basically, all hell breaks lose.

StellaDz That is a stunning cover! 😍 4y

My first Amazon First Reads pick. I read this book in a day. Reni is the daughter of a serial killer. He used her to bait his victims as a young child. He got caught and 30 years later he agrees to reveal the location of the bodies if she comes along. She finds more than dead bodies in the desert. If you like edge of your seat thrillers this is the book for you. It is the first book in a new series and I will definitely be getting the next book.

ReadingOver50 Thanks for the review. I was debating about this one. 4y
