Woo! Met my GoodReads reading goal of 120 books today! Glad it was on a really good book! Now to see how many more books I can read!

This book was so cute and so much fun. It was a great pick Chrissy! I don‘t want to say a lot because 1 more person in our #LMPBC group needs to read it. Such a fun middle grade novel!

Please indulge my self pity for a moment. I am so angry that my district has decided it's not safe for students to come to school but it's perfectly OK and required for teachers to report to work every day AND they've changed our hours so I now have to be at work 30 minutes earlier. It doesn't sound like much but it's screwing up my morning reading routine. *pout* #teachersoflitsy

Sace @TobeyTheScavengerMonk the worst part is I still feel exposed. Colleagues wearing masks under nose or worse not at all (despite mandate); several have attended large gatherings. Thank goodness our principal does virtual meetings, but that's not the case at some schools in the district. 4y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I'm angry for you both on account of having to be the in person and 30 minutes earlier. As a person who is practically useless until 10AM, that's crap. 4y

Saknicole It‘s all a shitshow for sure. I‘m more worried if our building closed for teachers since the area I live in has many areas without internet access, so work would be impossible from home. For those that can it makes not sense not to allow telework. 4y

Sace @Saknicole our local cable company is helping to set up Hotspots and the district has distributed Chromebooks but I agree it's still a shitshow. I'm so pissed that they can still do sports with spectators and concessions but kids can't come to school. IT MAKES NO SENSE 4y

This was charming, light, delightful, and although I was not so sure at the very beginning, I am so glad to have read this sweet middle grade book that is a bit of a homage to The Phantom Tollbooth but tells it‘s own story. Can‘t wait to hear what you all think. #lmpbc
