3.5 ⭐️ This was an interesting read. There was A LOT going on as far as subplots, so it was a bit confusing. I did enjoy getting to the big reveal, though! #Scarathlon

My first book completed for #Scarathlon2022
It wasn‘t bad put not quite a pick for me. I like the characters but I think a there was just a bit too much in terms of story & not enough building of the characters & background of the town & the magic elements. Also the MC is new to town (she spent summers with her Grans & one person dies & the sherif accuses her of always being around when bodies are found?!🤔 It needed a story editor but it did ⬇️

Although I probably won‘t be getting much reading in on Saturday or Sunday, I should be able to make up for it during the week.

Currently about half way through this cozy mystery. Enjoying it so far!

I found One Poison Pie to be totally entertaining and easy to escape right into. The characters are engaging and I can‘t wait to visit them again in Two Wicked Desserts this summer.

Dumped, unemployed, & homeless, what is a kitchen witch to do but return home and open a cooking school/catering business? But Mia‘s fresh start is complicated when her first customer ends up dead.

This was a cute and light story. It had a lot of things I like in cozies. Food, magic, intergenerational friendships.

The women were fun and unique, but everything was a little shallow. I would have liked more depth on the magic especially.🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
