It‘s been 6 years and I‘m still reading this book so sorry I wasn‘t really updated in a while I was just busy at work and since pandemic hit at the time I‘m just trying to be positive as the best I can but then I got fat with a lot of burgers and right now I‘m just trying to be better again more healthier more and more doing some skin care routine so thank you for having this page I love you all,
5 ⭐️. Adored the tv series and the book is great. Joe is a perfect villain! You almost can‘t help but root for him. Fast-paced read.
Wow. I doubt I‘ll be able to read the others. How do you top something so manipulative and maniacal!? Joe is such a great antihero (is that what he is in this book?) that the story kept me going. Once he started digging, I had to see what happened. Even when the inevitable happens. 5⭐️

I think this is perfectly matched! 🖤🎼🎤

I‘m sharing a book series that I read the first 2 books from but I‘m not sure if I want to continue with it or not. I own the first 2 books and I liked them when I read them. If I decide to continue with the series, I‘ll have to reread the first 2 books. If not then I‘ll probably unhaul the first 2 books. I don‘t see any point in keeping them on my shelf if I‘m not going to continue with the series.
#ThemedThursday @dabbe
This will probably be picked by a few people (or may already have been). I didn‘t like this as much as so many others but it definitely fits the theme.
#themedthursday I did not like this book, but it was the first one I thought of!
Thanks @RaeLovesToRead @dabbe
I saw the TV show before reading the book and that might have soiled some of the effect of shock for me. I can obviously see the technique that was present to ease the reader into the mind of a psychotic stalker, and I believe it would have been very effective had it not already been spoiled for me via the show. I did spoil myself however, and it felt too familiar and predictable to me. My own fault of course, but still a good read. 3.5/5 ⭐️s
It took me a little bit longer to get through my last book than I had thought. My job has been pretty hectic and I haven‘t gotten as much free reading time. However, I‘m so excited to start my next one! This book has been long overdue on my TBR, and my best friend has been hounding me for a couple years to get this one checked off. I‘ve heard so much hype also in part due to the Netflix show, so let‘s see how it goes!
“These books are more alive, more worthy than most people I know.” How true is this?!
I‘m home not feeling well today… ughhh IC sucks! I guess I‘ll rest and binge watch this 🎥

Today's picks are!
📚: You
✒️: Nicola Yoon
🎬: Yours, Mine, and Ours
🎤: Yeah Yeah Yeahs
🎶: You Got It (The Right Stuff) by New Kids on the Block
Yuck. So disturbing. Rarely do I think this, but the Netflix series is far superior in its writing.
A crazy ride: it's scary to think how someone can utilize today's technology to infiltrate and submerse themselves into your life so easily. How, when living in a larger city, some people can cease to exist when hidden amongst others. Kepnes was so good at balancing the dark side of Joe with the unlikable actions of Beck; the logic behind Joe's actions mixed with the lies told by Beck.
So excited! Out 25 April 2023. Just in time for my birthday - very nice of Caroline to plan it that way
#Trappedonanisland September edition @Laughterhp thank you for your picks this month! I chose these two and listened on audiobook. To be honest I am still in the middle (this month got very busy) but I plan on finishing up in October. “You” is similar to the show which I loved and I always like JD Robb so I am enjoying both picks. @aperfectmjk

I read the book/ebook when I could and listened to the audiobook during other times. Oh. My. Gosh! It was an incredible read. I did watch the series when it first came out, but the book is so much better!
@aperfectmjk @StayCurious
It doesn‘t matter what it‘s called - it only matters that IT‘S HAPPENING 🤩👍🏻🍾♥️
Caroline Kepnes, you brilliant scamp, I‘m disturbed by your ability to write a book in which I don‘t like any of the characters and yet I can‘t stop reading. Brilliant.
#Alphabetgame #LetterY @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
A very twisted and sick narrative, but also very entertaining and the good kind of creepy.
Hi guys I‘m so sorry I wasn‘t really updated for a while here you go guys stay safe everyone
(1) You
(2) No. They can be powerful but honestly, I don't care much about the number of words in the title.

I know this has become a popular show on Netflix, but I‘m bailing. I‘ve listened for 2 1/2 hours out of 11. Very slow moving and I don‘t need this crazy, stalker (I know, redundant) in my head. I hope others can find enjoyment in the book , but it is “no go” for me.
I was so excited to read this book. I loved the Netflix series and decided to read the novel before starting season 3.
I'm sad to say that after reading this book, I stopped watching the show. If you have watched the show and felt it was harsh or crude at times; the book is much harsher.
I didn't like the language used. I disliked all of the characters. Do not buy a book, just because you like the show it's based on.

Writing awful but nearly half way through this book it good so far.
I really liked it, and found it strangely addicting. Interested to see what Joe is up to next.
