I enjoyed Santaland setting and I'm definitely on board for more Holiday mysteries in this Series.

My only complaint was for Nick and April having such a whirlwind romance and marrying quickly, they seemed to have very little chemistry as a couple. Maybe because some people don't want to see Santa and Mrs Claus being affectionate?

After reading about April's famous Cloudberry Blondies in this book, I decided I just needed to know what the heck a blondie was. So I looked up a recipe this morning and tried it out. Turns out, I love blondies! Thank you, Mrs. Claus 🤶🏼

I picked this one for one of the bookstore's book clubs, and thankfully it was well received! It made for a great discussion, there are lots of details and world building and SO MANY CHARACTERS. Love this book so much!! It was well written and fun and funny. I was definitely tired of reading Christmas books so the fact that I loved this one shows how good it is. The world is fabulous, the characters are great, the mystery is well done. The only disappointing thing is that it's not available on audio. This was a totally adorable holiday cozy mystery. A few minor changes, and it could easily have been 5 stars. Once I got into it, I really enjoyed it. Mostly the setting, which was completely charming. I hope there will be more of these in the future.

It's finally cold enough for a fire, so I'm getting cozy with this one this morning. It's cute so far. Talking reindeer. Wandering one-eyed snowmen. ⛄ Cantankerous elves. And...murder. (insert ominous music here)
