I'm going to Indies Invade Philly next month. While this genre is not in my wheelhouse, I would like to get a few books signed. Is anyone familiar with these authors? I'm looking for something with more of a rom-com feel, less boom-chica-wow-wow, and not with half naked men on the cover. 😂

Another light, easy read that I enjoyed. Meghan Quinn is an author I‘ve read a few times this year and I‘ve enjoyed all of them. I‘ll definitely pick up more of her books.

What a feel good book. Made me grin several times. The behavior of the characters made the meltdown in the book inevitable, it was quite predictable. Nevertheless a very fun read!

Luna, a crafting queen convinces her brother and husband to be to compete on a tv show for a do it yourself wedding. Alec, is dragged along in the same show with his brother and soon sister in law to be. Alec and Luna clash on tv but they can‘t fight their mutual attraction either.
A laugh out loud story with some real heartfelt moments along the way. A great balance of family loyalty which made for a fun read and perfect for fans of rom com.

Today, I‘m sharing my reading progress for this book that I‘m currently listening to. I listened to more of this book tonight. I updated my reading progress on Goodreads and Storygraph and it shows that I‘m 69% done with this book. Last night, my progress was showing that I was 60% done.

Here‘s my reading progress for the book I‘m currently listening to. This reading journal is from the Storygraph app. I like how the reading progress is set up on the app. In the audiobook, I have 4 hours and 54 minutes left. I like this book so far. I didn‘t listen to this book at all last night because I wanted to watch TBR games on YouTube instead but I enjoyed that. Sometimes, I need a break from reading.

Today, I‘m sharing sharing my reading progress from the Storygraph app. I like the Reading Journal feature. There‘s also an option to take notes when you‘re reading a book. I haven‘t tried it yet but I like that there‘s an option to do that. I like this book so far. I‘ve been up all night washing my clothes and listening to this book because I usually stay up late. It‘s 4 AM right now but I still want to keep listening to this book.

This just wasn‘t a book for me. Some parts were quite funny but I just didn‘t connect with the characters.

It took me four months to read this book. There are a couple funny parts, but I just could not connect with the characters. If anything, I was getting annoyed with all of them except the sister-in-law. It wasn‘t horrible, but not that good.

I was disappointed that a book with such a fun premise and some genuinely funny moments also had such terrible characters. Pretty much every single character is unlikable and they all need lots of therapy.

I can‘t decide if I detest both the main characters or if I secretly like them. I‘m guessing she does some great character development and if that‘s the case, I‘ll probably end up liking them. So far it is funny.

An Amazon prime free first reads and it‘s just not a working for me. I was already not feeling it when the cyber stalking began. I‘m out.

This month has been all over the place for me so I have been kind of MIA over here with all the winter weather in Texas and trying to start a new job after being out of work for 5.5 years 😳 while having my car in the shop and learning how to use our public transportation 🚎 and walking a LOT. But I did want to drop in for an update.
