Just started The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, so that will take a free space. Will have 3+ 500+ books on here, but still feeling good going into November #BookspinBingo with @thearomaofbooks

The passage of time will usually extract the venom from most things and render them harmless
Couple things - for #riotgrams my husband and I love the idea of turning this into an anime series. But I‘m always a little hesitant to want for adaptations too much because of the risk that they‘ll ruin it.
Secondly, this is my all-time favorite book cover. And a fantastic book. Although it takes a strong stomach to get through certain parts. #murakamicultmember
Looking forward to reading this! So much hype! Have you read it??

Rupert Degas's narration of May Kasahara's letter has me cracking up. 😂😂 Staahp! ✋🏾
#booksbyasianwriters Murakami is Japanese. #readjanuary Did you know if you're in the bottom of a dry well, you can see the stars in the day?!
Mind officially blown. It took me a year to finish thanks to various interruptions, but I loved it. I'm looking forward to my next Murikami experience.
My favourite quote from 'The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle' ~ "In a place far away from anyone or anywhere, I drifted off for a moment", I love the quote so much, it's tattooed on my arm.?
Happy birthday, Haruki Murakami!

I'm about a third of the way into this book. It's typical Murakami. Cats, music, weird sex dreams, etc. I loved 1Q84 and this one seems very similar.
This took me quite a while to get through again, but I still very much enjoyed it.
This time sleep came to me-a deep sleep that all but pulled me by my ankles to the bottom of the sea.
(I want to fall asleep like that)
I've heard this is Murakami's best work. It's hard to believe I haven't read it yet, but here we go!
I see you fellow Haruki Murakami fans today #translatedbooks 😘😂 (tried blurring out the Twilight poster because that certainly does not apply to this post)
#somethingforsept #SeptemberPhotoChallenge #BooksinTranslation I 😻😻😻Murakami! If you haven't read any, I recommend starting with The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.
Settling in to read for the afternoon, decided to give in to my yearning for a Salted Caramel Mocha Frap. Yum!
I suppose it goes to show how much I've come to enjoy Murakami that I didn't even immediately think of one of his books when I tried to think of #weirdbooks I've read! #somethingforseptember #septphotochallenge #septemberphotochallenge
As with other Murakami's books, this one is weird yet enchanting. I have a love-hate relationship with Murakami; his fictions are of one flavour but I crave for it once in a while.
Isn't the Japanese version's cover amazing?👆
That night, in our darkened bedroom, I lay beside Kumiko, staring at the ceiling and asking myself just how much I really knew about this woman. The clock said 2 am. She was sound asleep. In the dark, I thought about blue tissues and patterned toilet paper and beef and green peppers. I had lived with her all this time, unaware how much she hates these things.
