I got to page 51 and decided this book isn‘t worth my time.

Japanese fiction recommendations?

I finally finished this book. Woot!!!! I've been reading it for over a year. From Pittsburgh it's been to Belize, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Rapid City, Bethany Beach and who knows where else locally. It is good, I'd just want a break and I'd pick up something else to read.
I can't wrap my mind around how Murakami thought of this story... Very creative.

I can't decide which #book to #read next.

How long did it take you to read this book? I started it in March... I'm only around page 450 or so. I love Murakami. I don't know why I'm so slow at reading this. Thoughts? Maybe my arms get tired trying to hold it up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book kept me reading, but wasn't great. Like other people have said, I also like unreliable narrators, so that's one aspect of this book I enjoyed.

I was really confused on the ending and had to Google what happened lol

At some points I couldn't put this book down.

I'm on the fence about how I'd rate this book. Some parts I loved and some were so-so.
I love strange books, like The Vegetarian, this reminded me of that book in places.
