To Woo and to Wed
To Woo and to Wed: A Novel | Martha Waters
4 posts | 3 read | 2 to read
"West, the Marquess of Weston, and Sophie, Lady Fitzwilliam Bridewell, have lately been spending a considerable amount of time together. But West and Sophie are not new acquaintances. In fact, years ago, they had once been nearly engaged until West's almost fatal curricle accident and his meddling father threw them off course. Now, years later, Sophie and West are thrown back together as they conjure a plot to ensure Sophie's little sister gets to marry the love of her life. It'll be simple. After all, it's not like she is going to fall for West a second time, not when Sophie has sworn not to risk her heart again"--

I can‘t believe this is the last installment in #TheRegencyVowsSeries! At long last, the focus turns to Sophie and West. Though seven years earlier, they nearly wed, lately they‘ve been circling one another uncertainty. But when Sophie learns that her sister is hesitant to remarry, leaving Sophie single, she decides the best thing to do is fake an engagement! The truth of the past comes out & an epilogue leaves the series feeling neatly concluded!

Final book in the "Regency Vows" series.

At last we get Sophie and West's story. One that was hinted at and one that the avid readers of this series were waiting for, probably just as much as West and Sophie themselves.

PS: I really appreciated the talk about parenthood

#MotivationalMonday @Cupcake12

1) not half-term, but carnival week. My daughter has half the week off from school. We might go to the neighbouring town today to buy chocolate at a factory outlet. Tomorrow and Wednesday is going to be busy, daughter needs to finish a mini term-paper about Mushrooms and she only has notes so far. 😬
2) no. Will probably shout at my useless printer, see above.
3) I'd be a fashionable young widow in Regency London 😉

Cupcake12 You had me at chocolate 🍫😊 have a great week, thanks for joining in x 10mo
julesG @Cupcake12 We came, saw, and bought 6 kilograms of chocolate. 🙈🙈🙈 And 1.25 kilograms of gingerbread, which my son is taking to the barracks next week. 10mo
