pickI think this was my favorite book club pick of the year for our club! I literally couldn‘t put it down and stayed up late to finish it in practically one sitting! Williams manages three timelines between two main narrators with most chapters ending on a cliffhanger, making it easy to justify another chapter (or 3) at a time! It led to a very lively discussion (even among the DNFers!) & while the Egyptian storyline was a miss for some, I loved it!

JenlovesJT47 I like all of them but my favorite is this series. It‘s set in the 1920s which happens to be my favorite time period for historical fiction.
