A book with fall colours for #PromptMaze … but I‘ve worked myself into a dead end with it 😭 definitely not my favourite Sookie novel… felt very rushed at the end but I did rattle through it at pace so am rating it a pick… another spooky read for #Scarathlon #TeamMonsterMash

I wasn‘t joking when I said I was flying through these! This is book 9. The weres and shifters come out. There is a hate crime murder of a were after the announcement. The FBI come sniffing around and more Eric! A faerie war and Sookie gets captured. I like Jason much more in the tv show than I do in the books. I also miss Jessica (who is not in the books at all).

Another one down. This installment focuses on the growing tensions among the fae, and poor Sookie‘s unfortunate position. The death of Crystal provides the framework. Lots of violence and death toward the (rather abrupt) ending. Definitely not my favorite in the series.

I‘m with you, Sookie. I don‘t understand either, especially ‘gifted‘ - we had a perfectly good word for that already!

Well that was a bit of a let down!
This book was mainly about fairies and nothing about vampires or werewolves it didn't end the series very well and a lot of unanswered questions and storylines not finished. Disappointing to say the least 🧐🐺🧚🧛
I have just looked on the internet and saw their is 4 more books and I don't think I will be reading them ever.....

#BookAndDinner: Sesame Noodles and Sookie (and potstickers. Everything should be potstickers).

After a long hiatus from Sookie Stackhouse, I️ started this yesterday. I️ almost instantly remembered why it‘s taken me so long to get back to it (451 characters are not enough).
But, even though I️ have some complaints about the writing, the story is good, and it‘s fun and campy and light and fluffy. Just what I️ need after all the emotionally draining clunkers I‘ve read this year.
Plus, any excuse to think about Eric Northman. 😻

So this is the easiest secret satan (santa)/book exchange ... I'm pretty sure I nailed it.. I love everything spooky and Halloweenish.. I'm truly excited about sending out my package. #halloweengoespostal #fallbookexchange

I have to use Sookie Stackhouse again. The end of the series has been the #BiggestLetdown in my career as a reader, so far.
I could mention that book with the grey silk tie on the cover, too. But I didn't have high expectations about it to begin with. 🙈😁 (I'm so one-sided)

I remember my mom getting me this book when I was in the hospital a few years ago, so it has sentimental value as well as being good! I love this series. Charlaine Harris does a great job in writing mysteries with lots of wit and humor!

4/5 This was the last of my Sookie Stackhouse re-reads before I finish the series. The final four books will all be brand new to me. I read this when it came out 7? years ago and man, did I not remember it at all. I can't wait to see where we go next in this little world.

As far as supernatural beings go, I was always Team Eric❣
