pickI‘ve never read this collection of Sookie Stackhouse short stories. I‘ve read one or 2 in other anthologies but most of them were new to me. It was also really nice to finally understand some of the side stories that happen in the series that are referenced.
And finishing this had me meet my goodreads goal of 200 books! Now to see how many more I can read.

panI watched the show True Blood years ago and I‘ve had this book on my Kindle ever since. I finally decided to read it just to get it done but folks, it was bad. I don‘t even really know how this got published let alone made into a TV show. Just badly written. And Sookie is even more annoying in the book than she was in the TV show which I didn‘t think was possible. 🧛/5
