Looking forward to continuing our cozy adventures in 2025 with #ThematicCozies ! All are welcome.

#LitsyLoveMembers , here is our December #LitsyLoveBingo card! 🎄 Have fun with it!
Don‘t forget to turn in your November bingo points to @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks , to be entered in the drawing for a “happy”. 🙂 (1 point for each bingo line, 10 points for a coverall)
For 2025, #LitsyLoveBingo will be an occasional pop-up event, rather than monthly. Keep your eyes open! 👀

I‘m excited about the #20in4 Readathon Relaunch Event! My goals are to read for 20 hours. I want to finish A Tyranny of Petticoats for #ReadOrDonate , keep up with The Mysteries of Udolpho with #hashtagbrigade , and begin Whiteout for #SundayBuddyRead . Thanks for hosting, @Andrew65 !
It‘s the last month of our year long #MonthlyMagazineBlitz ! Time to gather up our December issues from who knows how many years past, read them, and let them go.
Hopefully, all our magazine stacks/bins/baskets are looking significantly skinnier after all our efforts this year. I‘m proud of all of us for the effort we put in and the progress we made! 💪🏆🥇🙌
My #ReadOrDonate selection for December. 🐧 What will everyone else be reading?
Anyone interested in continuing for another year?
#LitsyLove members, just a few days left in November! Time to finish up any “almost complete” rows on your #LitsyLoveBingo board. Have fun with it!

After seeing several positive reviews of this book, I decided to read this for #SeasonalCozies instead of my original pick. I was not disappointed! I listened on audio, and the main character was an absolute hoot! A fun, lighthearted, easy read/listen for this busy time of year.
Well, this one was a bit of a disappointment for me. The hijinks were amusing, but Lizbeth and Ronnie got on my nerves. And Mr. Partridge, although adorable, was a bit odd in the way he just pushed himself into their lives. I surprised myself with my reaction, as I usually adore our #FurrowedMiddleBrowClub picks. 😕
Cozy mystery fans, I will be hosting #ThematicCozies in 2025. This is a very low-key challenge. Simply read a cozy mystery each month that fits your interpretation of the monthly theme. Then post a review using the #ThematicCozies hashtag and tag me. Same concept as this year‘s #SeasonalCozies, but with themes instead of seasons. 😄
Tagging those who participated in #SeasonalCozies this year, but all are welcome! ⬇️

My mouth is watering…
And I absolutely could not eliminate any of my choices, so I have 4 favorites:
1. Deviled Eggs
2. Stuffing - my Nana‘s recipe
3. Cranberry Sauce
4. Pecan Pie
Thanks for the tag, @dabbe !

I‘m hosting a new challenge for 2025, #FictionalTraveler . Through the magic of books, we‘ll be traveling to different locations throughout the world. Choose your own book, based on the monthly prompt. Personally, I‘ll be reading books I already own, in my never-ending quest to tackle #MountTBR .
Very low key. When you finish your book each month, just post a review using the #FictionalTraveler hashtag, and tag me. ⬇️
Now I know why this book appears on so many lists of “must read” books. Absolutely charming. And ahead of its time.
#Two4Tuesday
1. Stripes for sure. I have always loved stripes!
2. Not currently. But I do use the library‘s Hoopla and Libby apps often. And I love the state-wide loan network we have here in South Carolina.
Thanks for the tag, @Sace !
Great questions, @TheSpineView !
#5JoysFriday … on Sunday!
@DebinHawaii
Three strong women navigating life in small town 1950s Canada. One is a married stay-at-home mom of 4 children, one is a single mom with two daughters, and one is a single woman still mourning the loss of her fiancé in the war. Add in an interesting cast of male characters, two good, one awful, and it makes for great storytelling.
This was my #DoubleSpin for November. @TheAromaofBooks
#LitsyLove #LitsyLoveBingo
#WondrousWednesday
1. Rainy day outside, nowhere I have to be, quiet in the house, comfy chair, cup of tea, snuggly throw, physical book.
2. Jamaica Inn with #HitchToScreen
Thanks for the tag, @Eggs !
Anyone else want to play?
Involves politics, but definitely not in a traditional way! Great on audio.

And thanks for hosting this great event, @PuddleJumper . 👻🧡👻
I was shocked to get 5 bingos this month for #BookSpinBingo . Most months, I don't even get one! But I did read a lot more books than usual this month, thanks to the motivation of #HauntedShelf. 🎃👻🎃

Okay, Blitzers! It‘s time to round up all our November issues for our #MonthlyMagazineBlitz . How did everyone do in October? I, for one, managed to clean out exactly ZERO magazines. But I did get rid of approximately 6 billion mail order catalogs. 😂
Oh my goodness, @dabbe !!!! My #HauntedHollowSwap contained so many fabulous gifts, I can barely fit them all into the photo collage! But I had to include the magnetic vampire S&P shakers in both poses... apart and kissing. What a hoot!
How could you possibly have known I have been wanting a two tier tray to display seasonal decor? It looks so cute all set up! And the diamond painting... you really are a good stalker. 🧡 The two books are ⬇️

#LitsyLove members… where did October go? We still have a few days left to work on our #LitsyLoveBingo cards for this month. Have fun! 🎃👻🎃
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TieDyeDude @Read4life
I did not enjoy this book, possibly because it was so different from what I was expecting. I thought it would be a fictional, but fairly accurate, account of the Pendle Witch Trials, which took place in Lancashire, England in 1612. Instead, although it was based on facts, the author included some really wild speculative aspects to the story. ⬇️
What a charming story. And I was surprised by its reflective depth, in addition to the humorous scenes I expected. This was a #CastTheDie selection, as well as my #ReadOrDonate choice for October, but I won‘t be donating it. 😉

A murder mystery provides the framework for this painfully realistic portrait of mid-20th-Century life in small town middle America. Riveting.

This cozy mystery was a hoot! The main characters are two plucky late-middle-aged ladies who work in a school lunchroom. They bumble and elbow their way into solving a murder, tossing out frequent snarky comments along the way. I laughed out loud a couple of times. Great fun! First in a series and I definitely need a second helping!
