I liked this second chance story about a retired MMA fighter, Aiden, who lost his wife to cancer and is starting over as a gym owner. Loved how protective he was of his daughter. Also, liked FMC too. Always love a strong FMC. My only issue is, it got a little ridiculous how Aiden thought 10 years was too much of an age gap and how he was hung up on the idea that he had not grieved enough. Minor stuff, still a good story. 3.5 🌟

This book is a continuation of Henry and Abbi's story. This is book 2 and they need to be read in order. I'm totally invested with the characters; yet, I can't say I agree with all their actions. Henry is too arrogant and Abbi too immature for my taste. Despite this, I am enjoying these books. A testament to the prose. 4🌟

Hey guys. Sorry I have been MIA. I haven‘t been reading. I have had thing occur that I was focusing on. But noooow Im back to reading. I am about to start reading Praise by Sara Crate.

I adore this story even more with the annotations. Jasper‘s chapter was wild and crazy. I just can‘t help loving Laurie and Toby even more, especially with the little glimpses at the writing, inspiration, and background stuff throughout from the annotations. Toby‘s LMP recipe was hilarious. This edition is an absolute celebration of Laurie and Toby. It also promises a second book for them. I would adore that so very much!
