Librarybelle Good morning! It looks like it rained here too, @Bookwormjillk , though not as much. But, I think more rain and lower temps are in the forecast this weekend. I‘m baking my Andes mint cookies today for my dad for Father‘s Day. And hopefully getting rid of this headache (my head knows the forecast is correct)! ElizaMarie I finished one of my papers (case study) for my NP course - ugh! And now finishing my coffee. I might be going to the protest later, depending on my husband's ability to walk. He had injured his leg running, and might not be up for a long walk/stand. Playing it by ear.

My husband and I are taking my father-in-law to see the Indiana Jones movie in theaters today. The protest in our town is later this afternoon, we'll see if we get back in time. 9h

TieDyeDude Good morning! Just getting the day started here in AK. We have someone coming in about a half hour to rototill and reseed our lawn. It was really ugly when we moved in (very uneven, holes their dog dug), but the landlord doesn't pay for lawn care. It's @WildAlaskaBibliophile birthday tomorrow; since we just got back from vacation, we are just planning a brunch and reading time. Everyone stay safe if you're going out today #NoKings 🇺🇲🦅 5h

TheBookHippie I‘ve woken early, too much discomforting aches to sleep. I have been doing too much for six weeks straight- and am in a flare now 😵‍💫 which I expected, so laying low with coffee and library books ! Had sons bookstore friends and boss for dinner party last night. It was just so much fun. 1w

Librarybelle I‘m currently at an author event, but the rest of the weekend will be naps and reading. I too am going through a down spell, and lack of sleeping during the night because of frequent requests from Zeke for food have me running on empty. So much stress and barely any down time, but every day he‘s feeling good is a good day. 1w

kspenmoll @Librarybelle I know what you mean re: Zeke & food. Emmy is waking me at night looking for food. I need to weigh myself then weigh myself with her in my arms. She is too thin. We had all kinds of tests that were negative- maybe thats good? 6d

Librarybelle I hope so, @kspenmoll ! It is good that tests are coming back negative. For Zeke, he is gaining weight, which is good and will help him when he goes through a non-eating phase again. He was too thin for his body type a few months ago. 6d

Librarybelle Good morning! My area was under a tornado watch late last night, and I can see we had a storm, but thankfully no tornadoes. The cats were extra needy this morning, so I think the yucky weather had them riled up. It‘s my birthday weekend, so my mom is taking me to my favorite bookstore today and tomorrow (my birthday), my parents are taking me out to lunch. Zeke had a rough day yesterday but is much better today—the best type of birthday gift! 2w

dabbe It's going to hit 100+ here today, so we're lying low and staying in the house. This is the time of year where if we don't get out before 7 AM, we ain't gettin' out at all. TheBookHippie Just rest and hydrate and getting ready to plant garden… my body requires me to rest today. 🙃 We have dinner at my brothers tomorrow to celebrate my son graduation. Monday is chores, Tuesday plant. Wednesday my birthday, Thursday daughter‘s birthday… busy time right now. 3w

Bookwormjillk My son‘s birthday today! Waiting for pizza and then cake. A low key day although they dragged me to the mall earlier. I‘m like you @TheBookHippie - it‘s so busy my body is demanding rest. Which is fine since there‘s books, pizza, and cake nearby. We‘ll celebrate on Monday with a trip to Baltimore for a baseball game. Next week is graduating for the seniors + 8th grade promotion for my daughter. This is all fun stuff but also counting down to June. 3w

Cuilin As I sip my coffee I haven‘t decided whether it‘s a run around and do all the things day or a rest day and read. The smart approach would be to strike a balance but my ADHD laughs in the face of such desires. 1mo

dabbe A friend is coming over to have some coffee. Then, a walk with the pups before it hits 100ºF. 😥 Saturdays and Sundays make me feel so lazy, so I might just do a routine pick-up and then relax. What a life. I'm so blessed. Have a lovely day everyone. 😍 1mo

TheBookHippie Just a few chores and catching up on rest and trying to survive these massive swings in weather!! Huge temps not seen here ever on Thursday in the 90s then huge storms tornados and 80 then 70 and storm that went to 30s it‘s now 50 and cloudy. OY VEY!!! 1mo
