My #NoKings Scottsdale,Az. It was super hot ,even though I love the bigger numbers down by the Capitol, it‘s hard to get in & out of there quickly if you are sensitive to the heat and I am .Was blown away by the amount of people on 4 corners of Camelback and Scottsdale road . People were connecting, passing out water , seniors in large numbers .Bless them all.It started at 8 am to leave before businesses opened. lots of honking as cars rolled by.

IriDas @GingerAntics Yes, I cut them off years ago. But now most of them are dead (old age). It was such a sad shock when I heard their voices coming out of Trump‘s mouth back in 2016. Every interview with one of them is like a flashback to my childhood. Sometimes I laugh because they all are saying the same exact things my family and neighbors were saying back in the 70s. The Right truly has no new ideas. 3w

Librarybelle Good morning! It looks like it rained here too, @Bookwormjillk , though not as much. But, I think more rain and lower temps are in the forecast this weekend. I‘m baking my Andes mint cookies today for my dad for Father‘s Day. And hopefully getting rid of this headache (my head knows the forecast is correct)! ElizaMarie I finished one of my papers (case study) for my NP course - ugh! And now finishing my coffee. I might be going to the protest later, depending on my husband's ability to walk. He had injured his leg running, and might not be up for a long walk/stand. Playing it by ear.

TieDyeDude Good morning! Just getting the day started here in AK. We have someone coming in about a half hour to rototill and reseed our lawn. It was really ugly when we moved in (very uneven, holes their dog dug), but the landlord doesn't pay for lawn care. It's @WildAlaskaBibliophile birthday tomorrow; since we just got back from vacation, we are just planning a brunch and reading time. Everyone stay safe if you're going out today #NoKings 🇺🇲🦅 3w
