Bk2 of my #24B4Monday #readathon is finished. Bk2 also of the “Child Finder” series, it definitely lived up to the expectations from Bk1, it continued Naomi‘s story brilliantly while weaving it with that of another lost girl.While Naomi is driven to find the sister she‘s only just remembered having, Celia is driven from fear of what her stepdad will do to the sister she left behind. #Booked2020 #AnimalOnTheCover #PopSugar20 #MeantToReadIn2019 👇👇

Almost 7hrs in and #Bk3 is finished for the #24in48 #readathon I‘m very sad to see the last of MurderBot, I hope the new full length novel comes out soon. This is one of the best Space SciFi series I‘ve read, right up there with Ann Leckie‘s “Ancillary” trilogy. It‘s dead on midnight here in Sydney but after a short snack break I‘ll be diving right into Bk4. When I can decide which of my huge #TBR pile is next!

Ended up going back to #Bk3, a non fiction about Ruby Ridge. It‘s very good, the author has covered everything, from Vicky‘s childhood, how she met Randy & how they became convinced Armageddon was coming & ran to the Idaho Mountains. It‘s also about how those in power can get arrogant & believe the end justifies the means. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. #24in48 #readathon #NonFiction2019 #SomethingWithPolitics
