Fellow Litten @alysonwrites wrote this fun novelette about a councilor‘s center for fairy tale characters! You can read it on Instagram as an #instanovelette, she‘s alysonimagines there.

This fulfilled my #LittenLoveBingo square for #writtenbyalittenauthor. And that polishes off this reading challenge for me! #LLB19

BookishMarginalia Woohoo! 2mo
LibrarianRyan Nice! 2mo
alysonwrites @Soubhiville I‘m so honored that you chose my story for your #writtenbyalittenauthor challenge! And yay I am happy that you enjoyed reading it!!! Thanks for the mention! (edited) 2mo

“You‘re saying I‘m not smart,” she says, “Is that what you‘re incinerating?”
He says, “I‘m not incinerating anything.”
( @MrBook I thought you‘d like this!)

Also, great first line:
“Tonight a man found Dad‘s pants in a tree lit with Christmas lights.”

#GreatFirstLines for #LLB #LittenLoveBingo, and #LitsyAtoZ #LetterK for author

4 🌟
Birdie is about to make the best friend she will ever have in s scraggly giant of a dog she names Bowser. She is spending time with her grandmother in the Louisanna swamp where mystery is just around the corner. You see there is this big fish story about a treasure hidden somewhere, and only the map knows and it's hidden in this stuffed fish. The adventure is seen through the eyes of Bowser, but beware as he is easily distracted by bacon.

Hi Littens!
I‘m thinking of reviving the #AuthorAMonth hashtag, since the original host seem to not be on Litsy for a long time, and it‘s a square for #LittenLoveBingo.
The idea is, each month there is a highlighted author, and if you‘d like to participate you read any of that author‘s books and post about them using the hashtag. Simple, right?

What authors would you like to see included? They need to be prolific. Please comment and share.

Soubhiville How about Stephen King, Kristen Hannah, Jodi Picoult? Someone YA? Who else? 6mo
LibrarianRyan @Soubhiville Hannah has been done. How about Duncan (YA) Avi (MG) Erin hunter, Nora Roberts, Sandra brown, James Patterson (he does all ages), Patrick Ness, ami Kaufman, Melissa DeLa Cruz, Victoria Schwann, Jay Kristoff, Rick Riordian, Ridley Pearson (adult and MG) meg Cabot, Beverly clearly , Ray Bradbury, Laurie Halse Anderson, Diana Wynn‘s jones , Carl Hiassen (adult ya and Mg) Sranan McGuire, inert Skye (mg). For starters. 6mo

The Book I am reading right now will officially give me a bingo in the #LittenLoveBingo challenge. But I am going for #blackout. I have already made lists of ideas, and scoured litsy to find titles i own that will fill the slots for #recommendsay, @BookishMargainalia , #LittenAuthor, @Mr.Book, and #BuddyRead. I'm not likeing my choices for #AuthoraMonth, but I shall try. I'm saving the ones from my reading lists for the very last!!

Soubhiville The author a month thing didn‘t last- only 2 months happened. Looks like one of the hosts never posted to Litsy and the other hasn‘t posted in 4 months... I feel like at some point there was a list of author names thrown around for this, but I can‘t find it... maybe we should revive it with some well known and well loved authors to give you more than 2 choices? And for others maybe still participating in #LLB. I may do that tomorrow. 6mo
LibrarianRyan @Soubhiville when I dug through Litsy I found Boyle, Hannah, and Zauska. I am the messenger has been on my list for a while so I think I will try it on Audio. But yeah it does a quick death. It was an interesting idea. 6mo

LibrarianRyan @WanderingBookaneer I‘m tempted to do his newest book because of the controversy, but I will probably stick with Zausk. 6mo
WanderingBookaneer I have his new book, but I‘ve been afraid to read it. 6mo
Soubhiville @LibrarianRyan and @WanderingBookaneer Ladder to the Sky is excellent, but it‘ll make you mad 😊. 6mo
LibrarianRyan @WanderingBookaneer yeah. I had to do a lot of reading about the controversy and I didn‘t care for his reactions. 6mo
WanderingBookaneer @Soubhiville : I read it, but HATED the second part. I still enjoyed the book, thiugh. (edited) 6mo

Last night I did a thing that felt a little crazy- I gathered all my TBR books that I need to read to finish my 2019 reading challenges. There are a few more in my kindle or on my audiobook list. It feels like a lot, but really this is only a couple months reading for me (if I don‘t get distracted!)
#LitsyAtoZ (once for titles AND once for authors), #LittenLoveBingo
Tagged book up next!
(Bookclub books and ARC pictured too)

quirkyreader Try and tackle all of the chunksters first. Then it won‘t seem as daunting. 6mo
AmyG I did that. I have a box with all the physical hooks for #Booked2019 withnpost-its for which prompt the book is for. Not so crazy. 6mo

Lindy Bon courage! 🍀 6mo
mreads I loved (tagged) but I am of a certain age 😀 which I think makes a difference 6mo
Smarkies Maybe I should do this too to be more focused. 😂😂 6mo
Zelma I agree with @mreads on The Unit. I love that book. ❤️ 6mo
Soubhiville @Smarkies it doesn‘t always keep me on track, but it helps some. There are always so many other wonderful books to grab my attention! 6mo
Soubhiville @mreads @Zelma I‘ve been looking forward to The Unit for a long time! I got it in the dystopian swap last year. Glad to hear you both liked it 😊 6mo

Here‘s my #LittenLoveBingo choice for “inspired by #PetsOfLitsy”. It‘s also a #BlameItOnLitsy purchase, since I‘ve seen so many posts with people loving it here! I picked it up at a library booksale sometime last year. Sietje supports reading about animals 🐕🦍🐘
