I really liked this book! It‘s set in the 1920s in London. There is talk of WWI and some characters have PTSD (but they obviously don‘t know that). This book is mostly set at an university. There is a university party and someone gets poisoned. Saffron and Andrew team up to solve the mystery.

I‘m trying to find more books by this author but having a hard time.

I really enjoyed this book. The sexism was infuriating. Crazy how they feel it‘s okay to treat women.

I don‘t know if this book was laugh out loud funny, but I did like this book and would recommend it. I didn‘t mind all the science talk either.

The audio was really great as well.

I‘m using this for my #decadesreadingchallenge - set in 1960s

sarahbarnes This one just came in for me at the library! 2y

I picked this up from #BOTM #BOTMBacklog but decided to listen to it on audio. I honestly had no idea what it was going to be about and it‘s not my typical read. However, I was so engaged with this book. I never once was bored or wanted to bail. I didn‘t relate to Casey even though we were around the same age. Great read.

Megabooks Agree! Really enjoyed this and I know @BarbaraBB did too. I kinda wish I had gone audio, too, but I liked the print. 3y
Megabooks @Cortg good idea! I‘ve been meaning to read that one even though I didn‘t like this ➡️ 3y

Cortg @Megabooks I didn‘t realize these were the same author 😂 I‘ve been wanting to read Lager Queen! 3y
BarbaraBB I felt the same, like @megabooks says. The main characters really resonated with me. And I think @KarenUK loved the book too so we‘re in good company! 3y
KarenUK @Barbarabb @megabooks I did! I LOVED this! Lily King is a favorite of mine…. And I worked in restaurants for 12 years, so definitely resonated with me 💕 3y

Finished this one today and really enjoyed it! I‘m not an old movie person, so idk if I‘ve ever seen a Grace Kelly movie. However, I still really enjoyed this book about Grace, Sophie and James.

Finished the 3rd book in the series today! #SeriesRead2022

I am really enjoying this series. This one was a cold case mystery, so it wasn‘t as high stakes as the other books have been. I also really enjoyed the progress Darling and Lane‘s relationship have made. Can‘t wait to read the next one.
