I can‘t seem to ‘‘like‘ or comment on anyone‘s posts, or even when I select a book add my own pic. I have logged all the way out on my iPad and back in again, but that hasn‘t helped. Hope someone can assist. #litsy

Librarybelle There are others who had the same issue. The best thing to do is email litsy@librarything.com to report the issue, and they can hopefully help get the app up and running again! It hasn‘t happened to me yet, but it seems when an iOS update runs, the app is not cooperating with it. 5mo

Interesting font choice.

(I just randomly opened the book and took a picture. Didn‘t read it until just now. Is the universe outing me? I don‘t think I‘m exactly the Queen of swords but….)

TalesandTexts What an interesting combo. Does this page hold the queen of cups as well? The one above the swords? 9mo
Sace @TalesandTexts the page of swords precedes it. Which… confuses me? I thought the court cards were page, knight, Queen, king. 9mo
TalesandTexts Yes, you‘re right. That‘s the structure. But given the description, I thought it was either a cups or a wands description. 9mo

Sace @TalesandTexts I wish I knew the cards well enough that I could even guess at a random description 😂 9mo
TalesandTexts 😂 i‘m sure you will soon enough 9mo
Andrea4 That is an interesting font choice. Perhaps the author decided to pair the “female“ courts together and then the “males“ to kind of compare and contrast? 9mo
Sace @Andrea4 apparently the author hand wrote her books? Very impressive if that‘s true. I‘m just glad to have this book. It‘s hard to find inexpensive copies of her books (which must be out of print). I‘ll look at the at the book again and pay more attention to how she organized. 9mo

I‘ve always been fascinated by tarot. It probably started when I was 12 and saw a deck in a bookstore and bought it…and didn‘t do more than look at the cards (I wish I still had the lovely box I kept them in). I decided to get serious about learning tarot in 2020.

Fast forward 4 years and … I still haven‘t learned tarot. But I have a couple decks and a bunch of books! I‘ve been thinking about my cards a lot recently. I might be dipping back in.

ElizaMarie YES go for it! 9mo
Sace @ElizaMarie I don‘t think my end goal will ever be to read for others though. 9mo

1 - I consulted the star signs so many times the spine split completely in two
2 - Isak Dinesen was a favorite author from early adulthood. I particularly loved Seven Gothic Tales and Anecdotes of Destiny
3 - Christian Kracht‘s Imperium: a Fiction of the South Seas

Eggs Interesting-sounding books👏🏻👏🏻 10mo
iread2much 1) I‘ve actually read a few books so many times that they fell apart, it‘s why I switched to buying hard copies from my favorite authors. The first book I ever bought, Arrows for the Queen is very much taped, glued, and held together by love and stubbornness. 10mo

iread2much 2) Mercedes Lackey has been a favorite author of mine since I first bought Arrows for the Queen when I was about 13. I still enjoy her books. 10mo
iread2much 3) I actually don‘t enjoy reading books the first time, I find it stressful if it‘s a really good book to not know what‘s going to happen. I like to read loved books over and over again and for really good ones, I get something new each time I read it. But if I had to choose, We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. It would be great to read it fresh with more adult experiences in my life 10mo
