JenlovesJT47 I think I‘m going to have a mini marathon in the next week or two and see how fast I can get through the Kids and Twins series. I really can‘t wait to get to SVU and we should definitely buddy read when you get to that point. You‘re flying through! I read SVH slowly over 6-7 years. But I love these books. Been having such a hard time concentrating on reading lately and focusing on these for a bit might help. 4d

JenlovesJT47 And! I unashamedly adore the character of Bruce Patman, warts and all. He‘s an asshole who‘s pretty consistently an asshole with flashes of humanity here and there. My favorite Bruce is in the Death Valley miniseries. I read those two books over and over again, loved the adventure/danger aspect even though it made zero sense to me why they didn‘t have an adult with them. I‘m imaging my 16-year-old nephew hiking alone in Death Valley. Not pretty! 4d

TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 Well, nothing ends a reading slump like Sweet Valley! I don‘t feel like I‘m flying through since I‘ve been at this for 18 months! But I‘m really enjoying it! And definitely up for an SVU buddy read if you give me time to get through SVH! Oh and the senior year ones!! Most of those will be new to me! 4d

TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I am right with you on 1Bruce1 forever!! I love him… even though he‘s a real creeper in these early books! They soften him up and I always loved him in the secret diaries too!! Plus he‘s great in the SVU books, too! He gets to be poor!! 🤣 And definitely there‘s not much parenting or supervision in the series!! I don‘t want to think about any 16 year olds in any of these circumstances in real life!! 4d

And I have the dolls but Jessica lost an arm to mice I think… she‘s been recently rescued from my dad‘s basement and now resides armless with her sister in a safer place in my basement! 🤣 4d

I got the tote bag on eBay, it was some rare giveaway somewhere but I don‘t remember where 🤔. They have a lot of stuff on Etsy, too. Magnets and such. 🤓 And I definitely have the board game, my friend‘s grandma found it at a garage sale when we were in elementary school! 4d

I have had good luck on Etsy too— and I think I got my game at a used bookstore about 15 years ago! I made my husband and friend play it with me immediately but we haven‘t played since! 🤣 4d

I do have a map of Sweet Valley that came in my fan club box if you want to see it. Actually I think I have a pic of it on my phone. And that‘s so funny! JenlovesJT47 I also had a pencil but I dunno what happened to it ☹️ I used the stationery when I was a kid but I have 2 or 3 sheets left. I also have a puzzle from the cover of Dangerous Love but I got it after these pics were taken. If you read her blog she is hilarious! She made that corn dog recipe from the Oracle and I remember making it once when I was a kid. Didn‘t turn out like we hoped 😆 4d

Mine is actually a normal size… the background book with the picture of a (not cursed) ruby pendant is actually huge— it‘s a coffee table book from the Field Museum about their gem collection, so it‘s a bit misleading. My copy is a bit tattered though! I think the only small ones I have were from the UK originally! 10mo
