I‘m a sucker for any story involving identical twins (obviously!) so this book set in a small Australian beach town reeled me right in. Cassie & Andie have spent the past decade knowing that they are actually from the future & that the titular character is not their birth mother at all. In the days before & after the twins‘ 21st birthday, truths big & small emerge forever changing their lives. Unique & moving, I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

My favorite audiobook performer is Caroline Lee— she‘s Australian and I have purchased numerous books just because she reads them! I love her voice! And The Last Guests is already on my TBR, hahahaha!! ❤️ And I even have it on audio!! Looks like I‘ll bump it up to the top of my list now! 🥳 3w

And I have the dolls but Jessica lost an arm to mice I think… she‘s been recently rescued from my dad‘s basement and now resides armless with her sister in a safer place in my basement! 🤣 2w

JenlovesJT47 😅😅 well when my stuff was being held hostage I lost Liz the doll, who knows where she is. I can post a pic of my SV loot when I go home in a few days. I got the tote bag on eBay, it was some rare giveaway somewhere but I don‘t remember where 🤔. They have a lot of stuff on Etsy, too. Magnets and such. 🤓 And I definitely have the board game, my friend‘s grandma found it at a garage sale when we were in elementary school! 2w

I have had good luck on Etsy too— and I think I got my game at a used bookstore about 15 years ago! I made my husband and friend play it with me immediately but we haven‘t played since! 🤣 2w

JenlovesJT47 My dolls haven‘t been opened I don‘t think, I can check the Jessica doll to see if the map is still in there. I do have a map of Sweet Valley that came in my fan club box if you want to see it. Actually I think I have a pic of it on my phone. And that‘s so funny! I haven‘t played the game since my bff and I played when we were kids. 2w

JenlovesJT47 I also had a pencil but I dunno what happened to it ☹️ I used the stationery when I was a kid but I have 2 or 3 sheets left. I also have a puzzle from the cover of Dangerous Love but I got it after these pics were taken. If you read her blog she is hilarious! She made that corn dog recipe from the Oracle and I remember making it once when I was a kid. Didn‘t turn out like we hoped 😆 2w

Aimeesue After looking into reviews of all the (so many!) translations, I went with this one as well, AND bought the audio version. It‘s working a lot better for me than when I read the Constance Garnett translation a few years ago. Much more fluid! Enjoy! 2y
