The Passenger | Lisa Lutz

Pickpick

This is the story of a woman who creates and sheds new identities as she crisscrosses the country to escape her past. From heart-stopping escapes and devious deceptions, we are left to wonder…can she possibly outrun her past? One thing for sure; the ride will leave you breathless. This is a psychological suspense that will keep you turning the pages. This is my first Lisa Lutz book but won't be my last. Highly enjoyable book. Recommended.

suvata Sounds good so I added it to my TBR 4y

I loved this one! 📚 “#ThePassenger‘s white-knuckled plot and unforeseeable twists make one thing for certain: the ride will leave you breathless...When the answers finally come, they are juicy, complex, and unexpected. The satisfying conclusion will leave readers rethinking everything and immediately turning back to the first page to start again. Psychological suspense lovers will tear through this thriller..” #Suspense 👀😱 #ReadingResolutions

melbeautyandbooks I saw the news yesterday that Trevor Noah is writing a follow up to Born A Crime. I can‘t wait for it! 7y
Jess7 @SilversReviews that‘s a good psychological thriller but the other ones are really good memoirs or literary fiction that are definitely worth reading. I highly recommend them all 7y
Jess7 Omg definitely read A Man Called Ove and Eleanor Oliphant (similar but a little darker). @cj82487 7y
Jess7 I saw someone post about that on here and now I‘m super excited. I will definitely read it!! @melbeautyandbooks 7y
Jess7 Thanks @Christine1 - have you read them? If not, they‘re all really good in their respective genres! 7y

Andrew65 Read 2 of these, both due to Litsy - Ove and Eleanor Oliphant, both of which are 5 Star Reads. Hope to get to Heart‘s Invisible Furies next week! Again due to Litsy! #BlameItOnLitsy 7y
Andrew65 @cj82487 It is a wonderful read, but you do fall in love with Ove! 7y
cj82487 @Andrew65 I think my book club has picked it for one of our upcoming months. I just hope it doesn't make me cry like And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer. For a novella, it was such an emotion packed story 7y

My pick for the #90sInJuly Day 21 Challenge is #ThePassenger by #LisaLutz | Rating: 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|

Forty-eight hours after leaving her husband‘s body at the base of the stairs, Tanya Dubois cashes in her credit cards, dyes her hair brown, demands a new name from a shadowy voice over the phone, and drives away, fleeing the scene and abandoning her town... BUT it's not the first time she has done this. #psychologicalthriller #BooksIOwn

Cinfhen This was a good one ☝️ a little bit of Thelma & Louise 😜 7y

RadicalReader @Jess7 you‘ll love this book!! I wasn‘t able to put it down and practically wanted to race to the library to pick up my next psychological thriller 7y
