The other half thinks I'm weird but does anyone else do this? I broke a new candle jar today and that annoys me so I'm spending the afternoon boiling down my old candles to make wax melts and move the new candle into a new jar so it can still be used. Weird as hell or makes perfect sense if you have an hour or so to kill and an audiobook to listen to? 🤣🤣

marie3blue Bujold is fantastic. This one is well into her Vorkosigan series which is science fiction but I also highly recommend her World of the Five Gods books, which is fantasy. Vorkosigan begins with “Shards of Honor”

2. Vaca starts the 24th so reading, sleeping, wine-ing and eating is in the cards for me!
3. Adult Fantasy - I tend to read more YA than adult and want to branch out a bit. Bring on the recs!
4. There's a 6AM?
5. I need a new laptop but that's a new year purchase so I really want are all the kids under one roof for a full 24hrs. Just one day...preferably not fighting lol #WishfulThinking

alisiakae @Tamra They should hopefully be done by 2 today! Although that estimate was before they found 5 rotted plywood boards. The builder of our house did some really shoddy work on the original roof, we have had so many issues. Happy to get the old one off and new one on, but also glad we waited till a storm caused damage...we had enough hail/wind damage that the insurance adjuster approved on the spot. ☺️ 6y

alisiakae @saresmoore I wish! But with the wait list and production delays, we couldn‘t the wait 1 1/2 yrs for it, since we have current roof leaks and other problems that we didn‘t want to patchwork repair. 😫 6y

Ashley_Nicoletto I read a book during almost every lecture in college for all the extra classes not directly related to my major that I had to take. Marketing. Business management. LOL. I‘d open up the kindle app on my laptop and read the entire period. 🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ 6y

Literary_Siren I usually have a book in both physical and ebook format. Sometimes audiobook too. You never know when you‘re going to be bored out of your mind and need a book. You could also start a new ebook, if you don‘t have it in both formats. 6y

Weaponxgirl @Dogearedcopy yes I see them as needed at the moment but I hate the fact that they are needed and being used as an example by Tories of how generous a nation we are. I just loved that this guy was trying to bring back dignity both for the people using his service and the people who work for him having a living wage. 6y
