Browsing my local Barnes and Noble, I stumbled upon a game book for an Oz tabletop RPG. It is amazing. I had to find out more about Oz. Having only known the Wizard of Oz and its sequel Return to Oz, I did not know too much about Oz. But now I have the complete collection here on my kindle and will journey into the land of Oz posthaste. Wish me luck.

bailedI‘m really not vibing with the art style here, and for someone who had such a interesting life both in his life choices and in his inner life, I‘m finding this account of him desperately dry. I actually got way more out of the Netflix documentary I saw on Hallelujah last year. Maybe I‘ll stumble onto a biography I do vibe with at some point, I know there are more out there…
One of my New Year‘s Day projects was organizing a small bookshelf where I have paperbacks I‘ve read and want to keep. For awhile I‘ve wanted to organize them by author and add in the hardcovers I have from those authors, too. I‘m not 💯 sold on this design, but at least I know where to find all my O‘Farrells or Egans or Erdrichs, etc.
