I Spy on the Farm | Edward Gibbs
post image

Okay friends, I've created another Canva document, this one with bonus #ISpyBingo boards!! These boards each have a theme and are 4x4. These are “optional“ boards (as opposed to the monthly boards, which of course are REQUIRED OR ELSE 😂) I will post the link, and I'm also going to go ahead and upload each board onto Litsy next, but I am not going to tag everyone on every board - you can just look and see them at your leisure. I managed to come ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) up with six boards before my creativity ran out, but it's possible that I'll be struck with inspiration and add a few more before the end of the year!! Let me know what you think!!

BarbaraBB Love it Sarah! And I hardly dare ask but will you make an I Spy challenge on Storygraph? I loved adding my books over there 🥰 4w

rockpools These are such fun! If I read nothing else next year, I‘m determined to read a book with a scarecrow on the front! (Preferably from the adults section of the library - kids would be way too easy). I also appreciate you for making them optional!! Thank you ☺️ (edited) 4w
ElizaMarie I am excited to see your “mandatory“ boards this coming year! I think I am gonna try to solve them all year long, since I struggle (but love them). These extras will be thrown in throughout the year too! Thanks again! 4w
OriginalCyn620 Yay! I‘ve been playing around on Canva trying to design ones I had ideas for. I hope they turn out as nice as yours! 4w
thebacklistbook Although it doesn't seem to match the boards... 4w
willaful Great boards! 4w
TheAromaofBooks @BarbaraBB - I am definitely going to get the main monthly prompts on Storygraph, and will try to add the optional boards as optional prompts haha I am slowly getting them added in. I love SG but their challenge set-up is a little clunky 😂 4w
TheAromaofBooks @thebacklistbook - That is this year (2025) - I will have a fresh SG challenge for 2026!! 😁 4w
TheAromaofBooks @ElizaMarie - I posted the January 2026 board the other day, which included the link to all the 2026 monthly boards in case you want a preview!! I'm working on getting it on Storygraph as well. 😁 4w
TheAromaofBooks @OriginalCyn620 - I can't wait to see them!! I found a grid and uploaded it and then just use that inside the graphic. I added a text box inside each grid square, which is a little tedious, but after that I just copy the page and change the background/text but don't have to worry about recreating all those text boxes!! 4w
OriginalCyn620 @TheAromaofBooks thanks for the tips! 4w
Lauredhel thanks, what fun! *goes looking for farmer romances* 4w
BarbaraBB @thebacklistbook Thanks! That‘s the one I‘ve been adding my books to in 2025! Loved that! 4w
thebacklistbook @TheAromaofBooks the end date was 2026 on it so I wasn't sure. 4w
ElizaMarie @TheAromaofBooks ooo I missed it! I am gonna go look now :) thanks 4w
TheAromaofBooks @thebacklistbook - I love to do things in a confusing manner so this year I've been starting a new board each month, but giving myself a full year to finish it. That way I don't have a million prompts that get checked off in January and then not as many the rest of the year. So I set the SG challenge up to last two years because my December 2025 board is (for me personally) from December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026 😂 4w
TheAromaofBooks @ElizaMarie - I realized you aren't on the #ISpyBingo tag list - would you like to be added? I try to post the monthly boards about a week before the new month starts. Or anyone can download them all ahead of time from Canva. 😁 4w
ElizaMarie @TheAromaofBooks Yes please add me - thank you - I thought I was on the tag list (oops) 4w
julieclair These are SO creative and fun! Thank you, Sarah. You‘re a rock star! ⭐️ 4w
Lauredhel If anyone's confused like me, I think John Connelly is supposed to be the Irish author John Connolly? It took me a bit of searching 4w
TheAromaofBooks @lauredhel - That was probably me misinterpreting Lise's handwriting 😂 Sorry about that!! 4w
Read4life Thank you, Sarah! 💙💙💙 3w

Love love this book! It's a spin on Goldilocks but so much better. A child lets you in their house but tells you about the scary bear. It's definitely not what you think. Illustrations are cute as well as the story.

My local indie orders these for me before I even know they are being published and then Sherri calls to tell me she has a surprise behind the counter. 💖 This is basically a Narwhal and Jelly version of Grover/Sesame Street‘s The Monster at the End of this Book (which was my FAVORITE book as a child), and it is equally delightful.

Eggbeater I love The Monster at the End of This Book! Stacked. 6mo

Cute interactive book along the lines of “The Monster at the End of this Book.“ Though do you really want to train your child to say “no“ to everything? 😂

It‘s time for this month‘s #BookishMonopoly! I rolled a 5 and landed on “Literary Classic.” Oh my! There are so many I want to read. These two have been on my Kindle the longest. But there are many more on my bookshelves. Please help me choose! Or name your favorite literary classic!
@AkashaVampie @Jari-chan

PaperbackPirate My favorite classic is 7mo
Ruthiella I would pick Winnie the Pooh! 7mo
Jari-chan I for myself try to read more classics by women and/or BIPOC writers. All we had in school were white men 😅 7mo

MemoirsForMe @Jari-chan So sad and so true! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I also love reading and discovering more women and BIPOC classic authors. Litsy has helped add many more to my TBR. 7mo
MemoirsForMe @Ruthiella @Librarybelle Hard to believe I never read Winnie the Pooh. ☺️ 7mo
MemoirsForMe @PaperbackPirate Great suggestion! It‘s still on my TBR and not sure why. 7mo
MemoirsForMe @shortsarahrose I‘ve always been intrigued by this one. And I loved all the movies. 7mo
AkashaVampie I would say Jekyll and Hyde cuz I have to read it too. 7mo
