Got a review up everywhere but Litsy yesterday. It took me time to get into this foodie novel-I'm past the age where a bad-boy addict chef with the #DevilInside & a man-bun appeals & it was a bit too angsty rom-com, but I liked the 2nd half that was more about getting a restaurant open & all the foodie aspects. Allie learns #ItsALongWayToTheTop when she invests her savings in her boyfriend's new restaurant & he disappears. Link👇🏻 #MarchIntoOz

#itsalongwaytothetop for women working in NYC in the 1950's ... Or today 🙃 This book about women struggling to support themselves and building their dreams in the city on their own has been in my tbr stack for so long and for some reason I can't get myself to pick it up... Too real? 🤔

I‘m a massive Bon Scott fan, the only decent album they did after he died was Back In Black & a lot of that was written by Bon.Born 9/07/46 in Scotland before his family emigrated to Australia,Bon combined Scots puckish charm with Aussie larrikin & lived life at full speed till his death in 1980.🎶🤘

Yes it is a long way ..... & this is one woman I would like to see going all the way to the top & becoming president .......

How appropriate for #InternationalWomensDay ...a book that chronicles the early women rulers of England. #ItsALongWayToTheTop for these women, as they battle family and enemies to get the crown. I read this years ago and quite enjoyed it. #MarchIntoOz
