Really intense! Characters died that i didn't expect to die or made choices i didn't see coming. Minor characters keep nipping at the edges. The world building was creative with jade giving powers to certain people and clans running a major city. I plan to continue with this series. This also was my final book in my 2019 #litsyatoz #letterJ @BookishMarginalia

Starting my last book for the #litsyatoz 2019 challenge. With the exception of X and Y, I used books that I already owned so this challenge helped me work through my #tbr list. #letterJ

Decent read. Though in this case the movie may trump it as the cast in that is kinda brilliant.

LeeRHarry Definitely think the movie is better - one of my faves that I have rewatched many times 😊 2mo
Smarkies @LeeRHarry I have started watching it again as the book prompted me to do so. The plot is a lot more concise and the actors really do bring the characters to life. 2mo

It was surprisingly hard for me to find a picture book that started with #LetterJ 😂 This was a cute one though. #BBRC #A2Z @LibrarianRyan #picturebook

One day, folks in Brisbane wake up to find their world is covered in three feet of strawberry man-eating jam. In the course of the story you come across a few highly odd surviving factions, a sailboat, a government conspiracy, and a giant spider called Mary. A twist on the grey-goo apocalyptic theory, fans of Douglas Adams may get a kick out of this. Plus, who doesn't want to read a book written by someone with the first name of Yahtzee?

Mehso-so

I read this for a book outside my comfort zone for the #MMDchallenge. It‘s satire, which is something I‘ve never been particularly comfortable reading, because I don‘t always know how to take it. It was interesting, and it made me laugh a few times, but it‘s also in translation (#LitsyAtoZ #LetterJ) so its a bit difficult in places. Very interesting conceptual framework, though!

Wow that was a ton of detail chronicling the lives & relationships between Jackie O, her mom, & her sister. It was interesting, but I always wonder how much of it was really true. If you saw my last post, you might be glad to know that the last 20% of this book was footnotes. I‘ll give this a pick, leaning toward so-so. #LitsyAtoZ #LetterJ
