Really pleased with my outcome for #MarvellousMarch
Finished 8 books (my target was 6), although there were a lot of short and audiobooks in there.
Read 2360 pages, having targeted 1750.
Hoping this will help a strong start to April‘s reading.

Still trying to get my reading momentum going again. Two books , The Women and Tell It To The Skies, I am already on the second half of.
Hard to set targets but would like to finish off at least 4 of these, and possibly read to 1400 pages. Quite conservative goals for me.

I plan on using this year long Readathon as motivation to read down my shelves and TBR. (And by that I mean books that have been there for a while not books I picked up on a whim and added to my TBR just to have the satisfaction of crossing them off 🤣)

Like many others, this year I really want to focus on reading books I already own. And for my “assigned” reading - book clubs and buddy reads - avoid purchasing a physical book, if possible. Much as I adore physical books, I need to get my overflowing bookshelves under control!

I‘m using this challenge to reinforce to read what I own and use the library for when I don‘t have the book, as it‘s important to use the library as well for their funding. Although I use it for #FOODANDLIT every month already. It‘s the 5th already! 😵💫😱😅

My goal is to read as much as time allows and focus on these 4 books. I might be able to finish the Scalzi tomorrow while doing chores and make good progress on More than Human on my drive home Sunday. Daisy Darker and Exiles are both print waiting at home. Beyond that 🤷🏻♀️

D'oh! I meant to set an alarm for the sprint but forgot, so I only got an hour in. Did read these two intensely spooky stories from the “Creature Feature“ collection though, as well as some of The Hook by Victoria Stone.

Managed to get up to 8 hrs 4 mins during the #Dewey24HourReadathon.
Not as much as I was going for but still managed to finish 1 review book (and what looks like will be the first book in a new series by Denzil Meyrick) and about 58% of a second review book. Overall I think that‘s a win!
If anyone has not read I do enjoy the Detective Karen Hart Series by D S Butler. This is the 8th book in the series. Published next Year.

I am leaving soon for an early morning soccer match, but hope I can fit in some buddy reads and short stories later on today.
I didn‘t post any goals because I wasn‘t sure I‘d be able to participate, but it‘s been ages since I did a #20in4 #readathon so I‘m diving in. Today I read one MGGN and finished (after months of audiobook slog) 20,000 Leagues, so I‘d like to read/finish one more by the end. I also need to finalize my #BookSpin list for October, which has been under constant revision the past few days. 🤞🏻 hoping for some reading time this weekend!
