The final day of the #7days7books challenge, I chose my British edition of Harry Potter. 📚
On Instagram I was tagged in the #7days7books challenge to post books I love, covers only. Here‘s day 2! (Day 1 I used my previous post on here)
The perfect beach read. I love this series so so much. It‘s the best of both fantasy and romance.
NYC is currently experiencing a heat wave. I like bringing a book with me on the train to stay cool! 🥵☀️📖
Loved this!! Bennett is one of my favorite contemporary fantasy writers! Excellent follow up to The Divine Cities trilogy.
Super fun summer read! I wrote a spoiler free review! https://80booksblog.com/2018/07/10/review-hope-never-dies-by-andrew-shaffer/
Just finished up Campaign Widows by Aimee Agresti. Cute premise, but I felt the story was a bit predictable. It‘s fun a read in a rom-com West Wing vibe. For what it‘s worth, I definitely prefer the ARC cover over the final cover.
Sunday re-read, just as fun the second time. Fun story, amazing illustrations, and well-developed characters. Must read for fantasy fans.
A Hope Divided is the second book in Alyssa Cole‘s Loyal League trilogy, and I absolutely adored it! Very smart and informative, and at its core is a romance that is built on breaking down assumptions and building trust.
TFW you match your book. ✨🤓
Just finished The Fifth Season for the second time. Now I‘m reading the sequel, The Obelisk Gate (again) to prepare myself for the final book in the trilogy. This is my favorite fantasy series in the past few years! 🌝🌙🌚
#NewProfilePicture 📚I wrote about the Best Genre Subway Reads on 80 Books Blog | https://80booksblog.com/2018/02/02/best-genre-subway-reads/
👑
The Royal We is a fun read, like Prince William and Kate Middleton fan fiction. Now I‘m obsessed with The Crown and Harry & Megan. It‘s one of the only books that made me cry on the subway. I loved it so much!
Oh, god—so far it‘s as expected, but I am enjoying the tone and voice.
Shout out to the Brooklyn Public Library for the ebook. #libraryreads
The most perfect shirt for book nerds! I bought this shirt online from Joanie Clothing. It‘s such a popular shirt, I‘ve been watching for my size for a while!
📚
Also, Literally Me speaks to me on so many levels. It‘s hilarious and the illustrations are amazing. I also follow the author on Instagram and her posts are so relatable. Definitely give this a read!
First book of the year! I‘ve set my #GoodreadsGoal for 70 books, up from 60 last year. Wish me luck!
Picked this up after reading back to back fiction. Little bit obsessed with Korean skincare now.
Could not stop thinking about this book every time I put this down. The writing sucked me in. The time period and the characters are fascinating. #libraryreads #ebook
#BeachReads ☀️🏖 I don't want to finish this book because then the series will be over! 😭
Love love love this book!! Everyone needs to add it to their TBR! Reading this I was immediately enraptured in the world of djinn. The pacing is so great, world building is rich, and the setting is beautiful. Must read for all fans of fantasy!
Loved this alt-history western! Set in late 1800s Louisiana, a team of scoundrels is assembled to remove the feral hippo population that lives in the marshes near the Gulf. I loved all the characters, the romance, diversity (PoC & LGBTQ rep!), and pacing. Definitely a fun read! It's a novella so you get through it so fast!
