Wow! This book had a bit of a slow start for me, but once I got into it, sooooo good! It swept me away into another world. It kept my interest and it would definitely be a reread for me. Highly recommend!

Colbie leaves NYC for San Francisco, writing a YA fantasy series and working odd jobs trying to make some decisions for her future. Things get better when she meets Spencer.....a really good and fun romance for the holidays.

I know. It‘s totally the wrong time of year to read this, but I saw it at the library and picked it up because you never know how long it‘ll be until it shows up there again!

Colbie is looking for a short term getaway from life. After a dunk in a fountain, she is fisged out by Spencer. The sparks fly despite how hard they try to deny it. Will they get out of their own way or will secrets and their own pasts haunt them. I love Colbie and how she balances out Spencer, now that we finally know what is going on with him. I am loving the Heartbreaker Bay series by Jill Shalvis. Sexy, geeky heroes are my fave.

I finished this one last week, didn't get around to rating it. Sweet story, quirky characters, a bit predictable. Perfect holiday getaway from reality!

So fun! Spence is one of the core group of friends in this series; he has trouble trusting people because he's been burned by dates in the past who only wanted his money. Colbie is a famous author who is temporarily in town hoping to find inspiration for her next novel. These two are awesome because neither knows the other has plenty of money, is well-known, or why. I LOVE their shared hatred of phones! Definitely on my rereads list. #romantsy

Sitting on my porch, reading a cozy holiday romance, glass of wine, rain sprinkling around me. Pretty good way to end a long day!

Maybe it's all of Hallmark's #ChristmasinJuly, or the funny swear words the heroine uses, like #OhPluckIt, but I'm ready for some gingerbread flavored romance!
