Caught up on a few #archiehorror issues and comic-binged Paper Girls this morning. I‘m all emotional because issue 30, the last issue of #papergirls comes out at the end of July. 😭✨🖤🗞

I‘ve read a lot of books from Hispanic authors and I always feel so misrepresented. But it made me Cry like a little baby. How it captured how it‘s like to feel like a very Americanized teen growing up in a Mexican household and feeling like you‘ll never understand your mother..until you do. How it tackled topics like death, severe depression, and anxiety, all the while making you more understanding of the character‘s flaws and vulnerabilities.
Idk why Stephanie Perkins insists on making me cry, but I‘m a sucker for romance stories. Love this series. Isla and Josh were absolutely perfect. I really wish Josh‘s graphic memoir was an actual thing lol....and I‘m also kind of bummed Meredith has yet to experience her own happily ever after. 😭💕
This graphic novel was on my list for a couple of years now and I finally had the chance to get it and read it. An emotional story of a grandmother who finally breaks her silence about her experiences during the Nazi occupation of France.
Kaje is definitely my favorite character. Who is your favorite?
Loved this book it was so sweet. I love Cricket. 😭💚
This has been on my bookshelf for a while...why it took me this long to read it idk..but now I need Volume 2 to find out what happened to Charlene..🤧🤢#bryanleeomalley #snotgirlcomic #greenhairdontcare @imagecomics @radiomaru @dairyfree
Awww I loved the D&D references LOL! & how much Penny and Walter remind me of when my husband and I met in college. 😭💕 I can relate to Penny and her luck on so many levels. @onipress
Adored this book 💚 Loved how the story was about the author‘s own experiences at summer camp. Definitely one of the best summer reads!
Freakin loved this book 🖤 Wonderfully illustrated coming of age story about a teenage girl named Bina who has to endure an uneventful summer without her best friend, Austin, who is away at soccer camp. While trying to keep herself entertained, she finds companionship by befriending Austin‘s older sister. However, upon Austin‘s arrival from camp, Bina can‘t help but notice a change in Austin and worries he has outgrown their friendship.
This book was SO FREAKIN GOOD! I was worried about it being a bit campy seeing as it‘s best for younger readers, but Ellen Oh totally did NOT disappoint! The book revolves around a young girl named Harper who loses her memory of what happens to her after a tragic accident. Harper is sensitive to spirits and after moving to a new town & old house she realizes there‘s something wrong with her brother who may be possessed by something evil! 😱
Finally got around to reading this! Snagged it on free comic book day. This story was so cute and I was kind of hoping (SPOILER) that she‘d keep the dog and that they‘d be sidekicks. 😭💕🐾 Glad Princess had a loving home though. Street Angel is my new favorite ninja. 😎👊🏼💥
Jughead Jones has a huge appetite, but this time he‘s craving more than just FOOD!
“She felt curiously heavy: like the difference between whole milk and skim.”
Have you all heard the news?!?! OMMGG!!!!
‘We're going to listen music in my room.'
'Fine,' his dad said from underneath the sink. 'Just don't get anybody pregnant.‘
Thought it was the book I strongly disliked...
Turns out it‘s anything by Patrick Ness
Ugh!! I have so many questions?! WHO IS ON HER KILL LIST?! Worst news ever?! Issue 9 is DELAYED...BUT Sabrina is in the works as a Netflix series!!! YASSS!
Couldn‘t find the print copy at any shop, but thankfully for the Archie Comics app I was able to download issue 7! LOVED Edward Spellman‘s background story.
If Veronica and Buffy (the movie) had a baby = Vampironica 🖤🖤🖤 @SavageSmallwood rocking my world with this issue!!
I can‘t believe I have to wait until June 6th for issue 21! 😫😭💔 But I‘m excited about where they landed at the end of issue 20!!
