Day 1 of #StayHome24in48 is in the books!
Finished Red Queen - very good!
Started 3 other books (one is an audiobook, not shown) - very abnormal of me to start more than one book, but they are all vastly different so far, so I think I'll be able to keep them straight!

This weekend was #24in48, and I did it! Made some early progress on #readharder challenges, and learned I'm not the biggest fan of audio books. It was too cold to do anything anyway. ❄️📚 @24in48

Day 1 complete! Not bad, wish I passed the 12 hour mark but I'm close! Finished two great reads today; very different but both have been on my to read lists for a while. Excited I knocked them out and they lived up to expectations! #24in48 @24in48

Hour 12 challenge! It's actually hour 17, but just catching up on social media posts. Here's my bookshelfie with my favorite Christmas gift this year! My husband got me the HP series, since my current one is literally falling apart at the seams (especially book 4). Also a quiet shout out to his star wars book collection. #24in48 @24in48

Three days til Christmas and my time off has officially started! Cozy morning with Mrs. Pollifax; not going to complete #readharder this year due to busy personal life, but I'll get a couple more in before the end of the year 😊

Hit my goal of #15in48 for my second #24in48 #readathon! I was busier this weekend than my first 24in48, so I felt a little less involved with the online aspect, but still fun! Can't wait for next time 🤗📚

#24in48 stack ready!! This particular book selection is inspired by moving soon and wanting to get rid of books on my To Read shelf so I don't have to move them, and holds at the library coming through 😜 hoping to make a dent in my #readharder challenge as well! @24in48

1) Super slow internet at work for over 24 hours 🙄 finally fixed, but I'm glad it's the weekend.
2) Cute pens or stationary. I love office supplies! Or books obviously.
3) Still Lives by Maria Hummel was my #BOTM, but I know I won't get to it til the summer.
4) Protein bar. Gotta fuel the morning workouts!
5) Tagging anyone who want to do this!

Home sick and inhaled this book between drug-induced naps. Started to describe the plot to my husband and he stopped me, "wait, isn't this basically the plot of all your books?" I mean yes, but only my favorites, and they're all so good! Two thumbs up ??

How cute is my local library?! For #NationalLibraryWeek, they put out some mystery books for patrons to pick any book with an intriguing first line. I ended up picking The Paris Wife, which happens to already be on my #TBR 💁🏼‍♀️

This book forced a Starbucks run this morning. I didn't truly start this book until Sunday evening - and I proceeded to finish it late Sunday night (way past my bedtime). Un-put-down-able! Interesting protagonist backstory, wonderful murder mystery. I have never read #SharonBolton before, but I just found a new author to binge!

#24in48 day one in the books. Started and finished two books in 9 hours of reading and needed some caffeine to get through. Loved "The Masked City" and was honestly disappointed in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Appreciated the overall theme and creativity, but I just couldn't wait for the book to be over unfortunately.

Woke up to start my second hour of reading in hour 7 of #24in48, and found out I'm an hour 3 winner!! After jumping up and down for a few minutes, I got my tea going and ready to settle in with this book I started at hour 0. I loved the first of this series and this second one is meeting my high expectations! 📚

Ridiculously early flight home to the frigid cold means caffeine, slippers, and a good book. Still have 50 or so pages left, but I highly recommend to any other space nerds out there 💫🤓 wish he got a bit more technical, but I'm really enjoying his story.

When you are going away for 5 days, you obviously need at least 7 books. And 4 more new books downloaded on your Kindle. Along with the 40 that have been sitting on your Kindle for months. What if I run out of books?! #ReadHarder

Perfect #reread for Halloween weekend ?

"Did a shadow fall across the moon, or did the moon simply go out, extinguished as abruptly and completely as a candle? There was still the sound of leaves, a terrified, terrifying rushing. All light was gone. Darkness was complete. Suddenly the wind was gone, and all sound. Meg felt that Calvin was being torn from her. When she reached for him her fingers touched nothing"
