I love a good long con/heist storyline. This was fun and quick. Great narrator on the audio.
My first finish of the year (took a bit… been a slow reading start to the year)
First book in the Fox and O‘Hare series (#SeriesLove2024)

Finished this one for #trappedonanisland. This was a fun one, thanks @Puddlejumper 😊

This was pretty light weight, but I found it a lot of fun. O'Hare and Fox are a fun couple, with great chemistry, I plan to read more of their adventures together. For some reason, I kept hearing Kate Beckett and Richard Castle's voices for Kate & Nick. I see the Beckett/O'Hare similarities, but Nick is nothing like Castle. 4 🏝🏝🏝🏝

Kate O'Hare's favorite outfit was her blue windbreaker with the letters FBI written in yellow on the back, worn over a basic black t-shirt and matching black Kevlar vest.

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.

Kate finally catches the con artist/thief she‘s been chasing for years only to have the FBI release him & worse yet assign her to work with him.
Funny. Witty, snappy writing. A good first for this collaborative series!
Getting some light reading in this afternoon at my desk since I'm caught up on my recons. Trying this one in print since I wasn't a fan of the audio narrator.
My first audiobook I have DNF's due to the narrator. It isn't that I even disliked the narrator, but that the dry, deep, authoritative voice was not right for this lighthearted female protagonist book! Guess I'll pick up the paper of this one when I have time.
Starting something lighthearted after the punch to the solar plexus my last audiobook gave me.
I really wanted to like this, after all I loved Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, but it was too over the top. By 73% I didn't even care whether they pulled off their heist, I just wanted to be done with it.
“...or are they your garden variety bone cracker.”
😂😂😂
Giving audiobooks another try. Any recommendations for narrators you love would be much appreciated!
Gail Bowen writes contemporary and wonderfully Canadian mysteries and her protagonist, Joanne Kilbourn, is one of my favourite female leads. She is smart, determined, and strong minded and she never fails to inspire even when you find yourself disagreeing with her choices. #readingresolutions #femalelead @Jess7
Tonight‘s #audiobook ♥️
I‘ve hardly read at all so far this month, but audiobooks are making it easier to cross a few more books off my #neverendingtbr 📚
Bella came to us in August. She was mean in the beginning and would bite or scratch, I am slowly winning her over. She now will let me pet her and she often waits for me. #catsoflitsy
This was a really fun read. If you took Sandra Bullock's character from Miss Congeniality and Matt Bomer's character from White Collar and made them partners, it would be like this. It might sound weird, but it works. Good chemistry and tension between them.
When you start a new audio book series and you dont like the guy's voice. 😬
Quick and predictable, but great fun to read! I always look forward to the next one.
I bought these books at my local Kmart's liquidation sale when they closed. They caught my eye because of their classic #SilhouettesOnCovers and got them because I love #JanetEvanovich's #StepheniePlumb series but I haven't read them yet! May have to move them up the TBR list!

Waiting at the doctor's office... At least I have some entertainment.
