This series remains relevant even 20 years after I first cracked open the spine on a whim because I thought the princess was wearing a sweet dress. Cimorene became a heroine to me, someone to follow and model myself after as I grew older. I don't think I realized until recently just how much I internalized her indeoendence and pragmatic nature. These books have become a cornerstone of my literary identity and I am so grateful for Wrede's work.

You know, I‘ve noticed that none of the witches in my books wear a #WitchsHat. For example, Morwen, (one of my absolute favorite witches - whom I read about in the tagged series in fifth grade) simply wears “her ginger hair...piled in waves on top of her head.” #OctoberPutASpellOnYou @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @vkois88

I first read this in high school and immediately passed it on to my family and friends. This copy has been in many a backpack, it's pages are stained, it's cover is worn, and the dust jacket is in three different pieces. I recently bought mylar to cover and protect my signed books and first editions. So far this is the only book I've covered. ❤❤❤ #riotgrams #welllovedbooks

I recently discovered that one of my best friends has never read #TheEnchantedForestChronicles, so obviously he will be receiving the box set for Christmas. #PrincessX is for my niece, and #Guernsey is for my Mom! I love all of these books so much, I need to spread the love!

Seeing the new print of the beloved Enchanted Forest chronicles in a bookstore, I was so tempted I had to give my wallet to my sister's care for a moment. 😂 I always have a thing for continuous picture on book spines.
