1. Huzzah! I‘m also partial to haberdasher but find very few chances to use it.
2. Aristocracy I pronounce it wrong in my head every time I read it and have to correct myself. Aristo- kracy is not a word🤣

That moment when you use a big word and then you worry that you used it incorrectly so you have to go google the definition to make sure that you don‘t sound like an arse 🙀 #anxiety #bookworldproblems

1. Selective

3. Cultural

What a fun prompt! I‘ve been trying to cut down on the number of books I hoard lately to explain my first two answers. I read them and pass them on if I don‘t absolutely love them!

Quasifesto Thanks! I wanted to make some short enough to be enticing to busy workers/readers. I too have recently learned the joys of passing along books and practicing, shall we say, “quality control.” 7y
Tamra @Quasifesto apt description, “quality control.” 7y
Avanders I also pass on books when I've finished reading them... my *unread* tbr collection is still a bit out of hand, though 😁 (edited) 7y
wellreadredhead @Avanders Same here. I buy them and never have enough time to read all of them! 7y
Avanders @collegecatlady yep... it's becoming problematic. Again. 😁😘 7y

#wordoftheday I fell asleep last night listening to the rain and it was perfect.

Caroline2 Ohhh yeahhh I love it when it rains! ☔️ 😊 but only when I'm cozy in doors, if I have to go out anywhere, esp the school run then it sucks!!!! 😂 7y

Marchpane All I can come up with is "litter". "Hang on a sec, I've just got to litter about this plot twist". Too bad it's already a word ? 8y
Redwritinghood I always tell my kids I'm litsying and I'll be with them in a minute. 8y
drokka Both tweeting and twittering (Yes, I was using twitter when it was called twittering) were actual words too. They've just come to mean something in addition to their original meanings. 8y
