This year has been a pretty good year for me, reading wise. I am almost to 150 which is a personal record. Some of that is probably due to Litsy and the recommendations I‘ve seen! Also, with my husband losing his job reading has a been a good escape.

But I am so grateful for this community!! ❤️ you guys are amazing!

I went to go visit BookPeople in Austin on Tuesday as part of a pre-birthday celebration with my husband and I wrote this haiku for their poetry wall. 😜🎂 #PoetryMatters #Fear

slategreyskies 30 was very very hard for me. So much so that I remember waiting up the evening before my birthday and then leaving the house at around quarter til midnight. I went out walking down this tiny country road with no street lights and just the light of the stars to guide me. I remember I was crying. When midnight came, I was on a one lane road in the middle of farmland, the stars brilliant above me. I survived it after all. ❤️ 5y
