pickI don't know why I thad a feeling this one would be different. WRONG!! This ride was just as incredible as book one. These stories give another perspective to star-crossed. Lee and Romeo are drawn to each other like a moth to the flame.

pickFrom the beginning of this novel I was rooting for Jubliee and was invested in her story. The authors did well developing a strong female protagonist, while still allowing her to be vulnerable when it fit with the story line. Flynn's story was also intriguing and I felt heartbroken when his people shunned him. Lastly, I really liked that the authors brought back Lilac and Tarver in this book. Overall, a stunning sequel to a pretty good book!
pickI‘ve loved these audiobooks. The different narration for each character is superb. I loved how the stories from the previous book start to intertwine. The sciencey stuff got a little over my head but that didn‘t matter, the relationships keep you invested. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amie Kaufman is SO GOOD. Related: why does my library so often purchase the audiobooks for only books 1&2 of a trilogy? Not this one. For this one, they've got all three. But Kaufman's other trilogy, the Illuminae series.
so-soI liked this book a little more than the first one in the series, but that‘s not saying much. The relationship between the main characters was forced, and it took about half the book before an actual plot developed. It wasn‘t terrible, and I think if I had read this when I was 13-14 I might have loved it. But much like the last one, it just wasn‘t executed well. 2 1/2 - 3 stars.
I‘m having a cup of tea while I read for a bit. I‘m liking this book a little better than the last one so far. ☕️📖
I‘m starting the second one in the series. Fingers crossed that it‘s better than the first! 🤞

This book was really fast paced and full of action. It definitely had a bit of that dystopian vibe that I got from the first one, but it wasn't as strong in this one. I found the romance to be actually somewhat realistic and not super instalovey or out of character for the protagonists. I did have a bit of trouble being motivated to pick the book up at times but over all I really enjoyed it and I will definitely pick up the next one!

pickThis audiobook was off/ and on interesting. The overall plot was interesting but it dragged a lot more than book 1, maybe it was because I didn't love the characters as much as book 1.
I should be reading Netgalley books, but my eyes are too sore for text. So I'm audio booking it and working on a baby blanky for my cousin. What are you up to tonight/today?
My next baseball book. You know, the book you read while drinking a beer, watching the game. Because baseball can be helluva slow. I pick YA or plot driven novels with a quick pace so that I can easily jump in and out. And this series is lovely.
