I was surprised at how different this comic is from the tv series. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure if I'll read any of the other books.

Started 6 books and after a chapter of each just wasn't into them so I am rewatching Lucifer.
I just finished season 4. And I‘m so thankful Netflix saved Lucifer. But I really need them to get on with making season 5 now.
Has anyone read the Mike Carey Lucifer series? I definitely think I‘m going to pick it up now.

@JoScho Thank you for another devilishly fun #ManicMonday challenge! 😇
Lucifer, the devil, not Lucifer the buddy cop. This is the character that walked out of Hell in The Sandman, and now exists in the mortal world, not doing a whole lot. Until one day he receives an offer he can't refuse: To prove God wrong.
The story jumps into worlds of occult, mythology, and religious iconography, and unfolds into one of the greatest stories I've ever read. What if the reality we know, isn't all there is?
Just started this comic series. I am really enjoying it so far. Way, way better then the TV series.

@TricksyTails But what if my favorite devilish character... is literally the devil? Just finished Mike Carey‘s excellent run writing Lucifer, and I loved it. #RatBastardsNeedLoveToo
I gave in but managed to stop hitting the buy button after 8. Dreading looking at my bank account, but can't say no to better than half price books 😁📚 #blackfridaydeals (iZombie, Lucifer and Gotham Academy)
On to #readathon book number six. Sticking with graphic novels because my brain is getting fuzzy.
I really loved the Lucifer graphic novel series so I am binge watching the TV series. They are completely different but both are awesome.
Went with the lovely Brit with a lovely accent. Also sometimes the music makes and raises a pilot episode of a series from something good to very good. Hence Lucifer, Tom and Bowie's Fame. #septemBOWIE
I'm slowly, slowly crawling through this book. Savoring it as I also work through On Tyranny.
Visiting an old friend. Lucifer is my all time favorite graphic novel. I was thrilled to discover recently that Mike Carey is also MR Carey who wrote The Girl With All The Gifts, so that got immediately added to my must read pile.
Guys, I have just watched season 2 ep 10 of Lucifer. I am pretty sure this season is even better than the first. So I have a question... are the comics as good?
I had this with IZombie too. And although I enjoyed the comics, I LOVED the series. How do the Lucifer comics compare to the series? Very different? 😕📚
Everyone is talking about #neilgaiman and, I don't have a favourite BUT I did just finish watching the first season of Lucifer which originates (to some degree) from Sandman. I really enjoyed it - it's highly ridiculous but I'm a sucker for one liners (I might have watched too many 90s action movies 😉) and I'm quite intrigued with how Lucifer continues to develop his humanity/conscious.

Lucifer & Amenadiel...le sigh...The show is based on the comics (which I've not read) and OMG is it good! Lucy and Amenadiel are brothers trying to navigate humanity & LA.
Probably my favorite thing on the show is hearing Lucifer call Chloe's ex-husband "Detective Douche." Best part of every show ?
Weird and dark. My kind of book. Very different from the show but not in a good or bad way. It's on network tv so it needs to be lightened up.
Never read this spinoff. Love the TV show and loved Lucifer in Sandman. Since I tried Luke Cage, thought I would give this a whirl.
