Owlcrate just sent out an email that they will be starting new quarterly box subscriptions starting spring 2025. The categories are romance, science fiction, romantasy, and horror. More details to come.
A friend recently bought me three of these cardboard book stands, and I put them together today. Here‘s a portion of my Sci-Fi/Fantasy TBR shelf, now more easily viewable! It frustrates me that they‘re not wider—I have to be a little flexible with my alphabetical order to make it work—but even so, I think I‘m gonna pick up some more and use them for several of my taller shelves.
On my way to the book store and some of the Little Free Libraries for @mamareading birthday! I‘m exited to get more books for my TBR!!!
I treated myself to the Parker‘s bring on the heat big box snd it arrived Wednesday of last week. Such a long week so I loved seeing it on my doorstep. There are a lot of summer goodies in it but also 10 signed books (4 from Weston, 4 from Ali, and 2 from C. Morgan). So happy I splurged on the big size. I don‘t think I‘ll get all these read anytime soon but I‘ll probably start one this weekend. #20in4readathon @Andrew65

Went to the Big Bad Wolf sale today and got some books on my last year‘s TBR list. I feel so lucky.✨
OK can anybody help me? A couple days ago I saw a post in which someone had decided which book box to get their children. She liked it because it was for all ages and could grow with the child. I have no idea who posted it and I can‘t remember the book box program. Does this sound familiar to anyone? When I went back to Litsy my thread had moved on. And I somehow erased the history/ cannot find it in Safari

I got my first #spearcraftbookbox today! I am so pleasantly surprised by it! The goodies inside were super cute and such good quality! This was my first Owlcrate box and I‘m super impressed with everything inside! It came with a towel, woodmark, tea, mason jar mug, keychain, monthly themed pin, cactus pen, and a signed copy with an Owlcrate-exclusive cover of “From Twinkle, with Love” (the girl‘s shirt and the color behind the title‘s text are different). 3 books I don‘t know (one makes me want to neglect all responsibility until I devour it) and a fourth that I bought as a discount ebook not long ago & now regret not getting a paper copy of because of how gorgeous it is. And the stuff! I‘ve been toying with getting Lit Chat! And burning my fingers with tiny matches as I get back into candles! And I used to always buy this calendar.
