Last week was super busy with night shifts, but I managed to finish these audiobooks while working away! I forgot to post my weekly #WinterGames points, but thanks again to the #WGWordSearch game I brought in a total of 12,595 points for team #MistletoeManiacs! Woohooo! Go team! 💚❤️💚

Well I wasn‘t a fan of this one as much as other Christmas Murder mysteries I just wasn‘t as invested in the characters or the story as much as I wanted to be. It did have tons of words for the word search though!

Not having read the two previous books in this series, I really enjoyed this little holiday cozy. Not sure I‘ll try all the recipes, but I definitely want to try the muffuletta frittata. #WinterGames #MistletoeManiacs #WordSearch +2306 pts

This was a miss for me. There were way too many characters, especially for audiobook version. The story moved so slowly with a lot of filler, introducing one person after another who emerges as a “suspect” and is then eliminated. Felt repetitive. Christmas vibe only at the very end.

I wanted to love this one but I had a hard time connecting to the characters. It may be that I haven‘t read the other books in the series, but I couldn‘t pass up on the team read for #mistletoemanics and #wintergames. When I learned this would be one of our buddy reads (and I already read Holidaze), I spent last month reading the first two books in the series, because I hate to read out of order. I really enjoy this cozy series- and I loved that Rufus has redeemed himself. I just really like the characters and the town of Pelican. I‘m fairly new to cozy mysteries and I‘ve not read any others in this series, but I enjoyed it! I really liked Maggie, the MC. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job with the accents!
